"Some clients are very difficult to please. Though we put our best effort forward there are times when it's just not enough. We felt we had done everything right on this project and were astounded when the most minuscule details, which were easily resolved, were blown completely out of proportion, leading to a total communication breakdown. We tried our best on this job. The patio product that was delivered was exactly to spec, completed on time and on budget. Sometimes we receive undeserved abuse from clients. We feel this was one of those times."

They were done - start to finish - in less than an hour, and that included the cutting, pickup and cleanup.
Our tree was charming and enjoyable, but it had passed its time to come down, and we found out, becoming a danger to all passers-by, cars, children walking by, etc. It would not have lasted much longer without falling down on its own.
The men were courteous and efficient.

issue with their work, they will not fix it, despite all their promises

UTree did a
landscape job for my next door neighbor, but went through my property to
move all their material without asking my consent first. They then
promised to fix the damage on my lawn, but all they did was to sprinkle
some grass seeds at the end.
The soil in that
area was compacted due to them moving tons of boulders through, and now
water puddles up there -- nothing would grow.
I
contacted them in the spring trying to resolve the issue, and they
promised they will but never did, and now the manager, Matt, simply
blocked my calls.
They may be very nice to work with when they try to get your job, but think about what will happen after you pay them!

After watering the sod on the first day, one area of the leveling did sink down more than expected. I contacted Matt and they came to add more dirt and fixed the issue the next day.

The landscaping aspect went well. I was able to have a long conversation with their head landscape designer and she has extensive knowledge of rain gardens and planting techniques on hills to maximize water flow, etc. I'm not using the exact correct language that she used, but I was impressed with how much she knew. I only needed new shrubs though. There were a few hiccups in the job, but they were professional and made it right which says a lot about them as a company.

I worked with UTrees for number of years and have relied on them primarily because of contact sales person. I have relied on them for tree trimming service in my last house and also in my new house. So I would say a relation of 5+ yrs. UTrees does a good job when they show up and the sales person I was working with you have always been reliable. But UTrees has no sense of customer retention or dedication to service. You get a feeling that they are fly by kind of service more like door-door service which you cannot turn to next day. Its extremely difficult to talk to their folks get on their calendar. This spring they have kept me waiting up until now but never showed up. In fact looking back in years of my relation they never show up in one call or one appointment. You have to call atleast 5 times for them to finally show up. If you desire long-term relation and reliable partner i STRONGLY URGE TO LOOK ELSEWHERE.

Cons - Poor communication and responsiveness. I called a couple times after they performed the services with follow-up questions. They never called back or attempted to contact me. This is they only thing that would hold me back from using their services again.

Andy, the contact rep from Urban, was a joy to work with. He personally reviewed the procedure and then followed up to check that all was done well. I would highly, highly, highly recommend their services to anyone in the greater Twin Cities area.
