They came out to give me a quote on treating 2 trees and possibly trimming one tree. After I got a couple other similar bids I went with Urban. I signed their agreement to begin work to treat 2 trees in mid July. It's August 24th and have not heard a word from them about scheduling my treatments even though verbally they told me they would be out by the first week in August. I checked in early August and was told they were very busy and that someone would be in contact when they could. I have never experienced anything like this and am so disappointed with their lack of communication. I do not want to move forward with them and regret signing their agreement. Do not hire this company.

Everyone at Urban Tree & Landscape were a pleasure to deal with. From the initial contact to schedule the estimate to the stump grinding. I would definitely hire again.

They were contracted to remove two limbs that were touching our roof. They not only removed the limbs quickly, but trimmed back several others to give our roof 10' clearance. Owner Gabe and crew lead Jason were very courteous and polite and made sure the heavy machinery didn't damage our lawn. The limbs were cut flush to the trees, so it isn't obvious we had trimming done. The work was done very quickly and all the mess was cleaned up before they left. Wonderful work!

Gabe and his crew were awesome to work with. Everyone was professional and ensured that our job was done to our satisfaction. Was amazed how fast they were at completing what we thought was a pretty large job, especially the removal of our log/brush pile. Afterwards, they cleaned everything up which was quite impressive. Would highly recommend and would definitely hire again!

The owner Gabe came over, gave a detailed quote on the spot. He performed the work on schedule. He did a nice job of minimizing damage to my yard and cleaned up nicely afterwards.

Outstanding service! Gabe came to our house the day I contacted him, submitted a bid and returned when he said he would to remove a tree and stump from our front yard. Price was very reasonable, and Gabe was polite, upbeat and very easy to deal with. Would hire again and highly recommend his services!

The service went better than expected. They arrived early and went straight to work. We couldn’t believe they got the work done in one day. 7 trees and 2 of them were huge. After they were down and cut up the cleanup started. Hauled it all away, ground the stumps and thoroughly raked the yard. Happy customers here!

I called & gave information. This company was first to have someone out to bid. Gabe's informal bid was about $950 which seemed a fair price. He was going to e-mail formal bid, but I never received that nor follow up phone call.

I contacted several providers and Urban Tree and Landscape was responsive, polite, and professional. They provided a competitive offer and completed the work in a timely manner.

I wish I could review based on their services, but no one seemed willing to respond to my inquiries after several weeks (web form and email). I don't trust a business that can't even communicate with its customers. I'll be looking for a better service.

I requested a quote via e-mail and was called a couple days later to schedule a time for a rep to come out and take a look at the tree. Kyle came out and discussed removing the tree. We also discussed other potential projects around my house. I was impressed with his knowledge and got some good information for future work. He was able to provide a quote on the spot for what I wanted. The tree in question was growing about 4-6" from my house, and was growing into a power line. Urban was able to remove the tree without having to drop the line (two different companies proposed a much more complicated and costly approach for removing the tree). I also wanted to keep the trunk for some woodworking projects, and asked that it be left behind. Urban did exactly what I wanted and cleaned up all the mess. I definitely plan on hiring Urban again.

The salesman convinced me to cancel the other quote I had coming the next day because he assured me that any quote I would get would be within $200 of his quote. He then said he'd split the difference and give me $100 off the price he originally quoted and a promise they would get it done in a short timeframe. The work was done very well and on time. However, my sister just got the same exact scope of work done at her new house and was charged $1000 less by another company. I then began asking around at work and with family who had tree removal work done and I quickly realized I was fooled into paying at least twice what I should have. Very disappointed in the dishonesty of the sales process- would not recommend.

He's a great guy to work with. The owner is even here on site working along with the crew. Really, really happy with them!

Wonderful. They had the lowest bid and did everything carefully and with professional and friendly interactions whenever I had questions. They got all the work done in one day despite it being in December with snow. All the work was carefully executed and all debris cleaned up nicely! It looks great and I couldn't have hoped for better results!

Choose a lower priced bid from another company.

I initially contacted Urban Tree, along with 3 other companies, the first week of April to get an estimate to trim my backyard tree.  He was responsive and scheduled a time to meet with me.  All went well and he said the work would be completed within a couple of weeks.  Of the 4 estimates I received, Urban Tree was the 3rd cheapest and I really liked Kyle so I decided to hire his co.  It took nearly a week for us to confirm the price by emailing back and forth and then he told me Gabe would be in touch soon to schedule the work in coordination with the electric co. because the main power line from the house had to be dropped.  Several days went by without me hearing anything so I emailed him again and was told Gabe would surely be in touch soon.  He explained they had some kind of "break down", which slowed them down.  After a few more days I was quite frustrated with the lack of communication.  It had been raining fairly consistently so I assumed this was the reason for not hearing from them but I expected to be informed and not have to guess as to why they weren't scheduling the work so I emailed again.  When Kyle finally called back he said the weather was indeed the reason for the delay.  I told him I expect to be informed in a timely manner from here on out and he agreed to do do.  Finally Gabe called to schedule the service for May 11.  On the 10th he called to suggest they postpone because there was a chance of rain and he was afraid my power line might not be hooked up in a timely manner after the trimming was finished.  I agreed and he said he would be in touch by the 13th.  When I didn't hear from him, I emailed Kyle again on the 16th to express my increased frustration and to ask when I would hear from Gabe.  He said he was confident he would call within a day or two.  Four more days passed without any notification.  On the night of the 19th I sent an email saying that if I didn't have a date scheduled by end of the day on the 20th I was moving on with another co.  The early morning of the next day, May 20 (more than 6 weeks after I first contacted them!) the electric co. showed up to drop my power line.  I thought that meant that Urban Tree was going to trim the tree and had failed to notify me.  I explained the situation to the Xcel guy, he called Urban Tree to verify service and they told him they were not prepared to do the work so cancel the service call.  They had even failed to notify Xcel.  

Now that it it has been nearly 7 weeks from when I thought the tree would be trimmed, the perennials that fill the entire yard are mature and will likely be damaged by the work but it needs to be done.  If Urban Tree had done the work when they said they would the plants were just sprouting and damage would have been minimal.  I have rarely, if ever, had such poor service!

Very quick scheduling (less than a week from phone call to the truck showing up in my yard. They were very careful to work around existing landscaping, not damaging hosta under the trees. They put down plywood sheets so that the equipment never drove directly on the lawn, no damage at all. Took the better part of a day, then everything was cleaned up. Stump grinder came out the next day, and carefully shielded the work area so that the wood chips didn't fly everywhere. Even when Gopher 1 didn't mark the Comcast cable line, and the stump grinder accidentally severed it, they came back the next day to repair the cable for free. Highly recommend! They will be back this fall after the leaves drop to trim the backyard oaks and haul out some buckthorn.

Urban Tree was great from start to finish! Kyle came and listened to what I needed, made some suggestions and gave me a decent price for the project. They came the next day and did the job cleanly and quickly - even during a sudden spring snow squall that wasn't very pleasant to work in! They had the best price and did a great job on time. I would definitely hire them again!
