Our floors were in rough shape.  Rod provided a quote (cheapest of the three I got) and about 1.5 yrs later we got around to having the floors refinished.  Rod honored the quote he provided originally.  He also replace a couple broken boards at no extra cost.
His crew showed up on time all three days, in fact they came in extra early on the final day per our request.
I would use this company again.

To start - the entire house was carpeted. My wife got an initial bid based on pulling back carpet corners. We had just taken possession of the house, and then we removed the carpet ourselves. Thats also when we found that there was well over 400 wood screws mucking up the stairs and 1st floor. In addition, two of the bedrooms had indoor/outdoor carpet glue covering the entire surface. We called back since we knew this wasn't part of the original bid - and had immediate response (on site on a Saturday no less) - to discuss options.
Project started on time, finished on time, and all work was completed per our specifications. The price did go up beyond our initial bid, but the project had changed based on new conditions and we knew that before the work started.

This guy is so old he can't even get down to the floors anymore. The younger people who are actually doing the work are the worst. Arrogant attitudes. Would never hire them again. There are so many better people out there. Businesses like this need to be put out of business.

I'm not sure where to begin with this company. I have tried to work with the owner, but he is completely unprofessional and unresponsive. Got his name as a referral from someone. He installed hardwood floors and refinished existing hardwood floors. After spending 3 days at a hotel we came home to find scratches from the sander down the center of the hallway, and in the dining room. I then called him out to look at them and he agreed they had scratched the floor and would repair them. So he taped off the sections of the flooring needing repairing and refinished. When we got back from staying at the hotel again, the areas he refinished were a different color and had a milky finish to them. I again called him out again and he agreed reluctantly that they were a different color and had a milky finish. So he agreed to refinish the entire area excluding the family room which was a different but adjoining area. OK I'm at this point hoping the third time is the charm. Oh no we get back again and now the entire area is milky. I call him out again and he says there is nothing wrong with the floors. So I know had to call the distributer and and consult with the manutacurer (on the phone). The distributer comes out to look at the floors because is there is nothing wrong with his application, then it must be the product. They come and meet us and the flooring refinisher (ROD), and agree the floors look completely milky. The manufacturer (Bona) says it is most likely because he did not stir the bucket of product. (I would hope a professional floor refinisher would know this). So he agrees to redo the floors again. This time the floors don't look milky, but he leaves three puddles of poly on the floor, gaps in the boards where he installed the new floors, the adjoining areas are two different colors, the baseboard he reinstalled have pulled away from the wall because they restalled over the old caulk, my cabinets which are enameled have spots of stain on them. Since he demanded payment before he would leave the job, he has been paid in full, so at this point we have to persue getting the job done through different means. DO NOT us ROD LeVoir for anything related to hardwood floors. Worst job ever.
