I had a good experience 3 yrs ago when I used Precision Auto Upholstery on another car I owned. However my experience in 2018 was quite different. I called first to obtain a quote, giving Precision Auto Upholstery the make, model and year of my car and quoted $400.00 to replace headliner. The first appointment was 3 weeks out, okay fine. I called ahead of time to let Precision Auto Upholstery know I am dropping off my car on Sunday for work to be completed on Monday/Tuesday. Upon dropping off my car I found out that they had no drop box to drop off the car keys, so had to leave the keys out for them. I didn't hear back from Precision Auto Upholstery on either the Monday or Tuesday, so decided to call them to find out how the work was going. Upon calling I was informed that the replacement headliner will be 3 times more expenses that was what quoted....he made a mistake when quoting me, and then stated that I would have to come back in a 1 month's time, when he's not so busy. Having already waited 3 weeks, plus had a wasted journey back and forth, I decided to take my business elsewhere. I assume that Precision Auto Upholstery as a big job on for a car dealer and is dropping all other work, however they have lost this repeat customer!

Darryl at Precision Auto Upholstery was wonderful, as was the man who actually did the work on my car (I don't know his name). Daryl was able to identify that part of my seat was leather and part was vinyl. He asked me how many miles I had on it and how long I expected to keep the car. He knew that Toyotas run well for at least 250,000 miles. He recommended replacing the leather part with vinyl because it was more cost effective and he assured me that the color would match. That had been my big fear before I took it to them -- could they match the color or would it look patched up. I need not have worried. It matches wonderfully! And Darryl had assured me on the phone (when I called ahead of time) that, if the leather did not match, they have a dye expert who comes in and makes it match. When I was there in person, I could see that they have many, many colors of leather and vinyl. See the before and after photos attached. Anyway, the vinyl looks great! And I took the car to them in the morning, about 10 AM and it was done by 2:30 PM the same day. I'm extremely pleased I took my car to them and I have no hesitation in heartily recommending them!

They fixed and replaced the seats in my 2007 Nissan Murano with new material and di it for about half the price I was quoted in St. Paul or Minneapolis. I was very satisfied and it was a fair price. I drive quite a distance to get tot hem, but it's worth it and will definitely go back.

This particular upholstery was manufacturer discontinued. I worked with Brad who went out of his way to contact various suppliers for this material still in their stock, which he was able to locate. They were all very professional throughout the process. The work was completed sooner that predicted, with excellent quality workmanship and a fair price. I would definitely be a return customer in the future and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for their type of services.

Had a couple of rips and tears in the seat of my Audi A4.  Contacted Precision (and a couple of others) through Angie's to get a price for the repair.  I'd assumed that it would be a case of taking the car in for an estimate, but these folks suggested I just shoot them a good quality photo and we'd see if they could work from that (nice consideration for saving the customer the trip!).  That went fine, and they were very clear about the repair's scope and the price - both of which were considerably more reasonable than I'd heard from some other shops. 
They said they'd need the car for a day (perfectly reasonable) - the only challenge was scheduling, which is my only, *minor* issue - they're not a big shop with a dedicated "front office" person, so it's sometimes difficult to work out the communications.....we ended up playing a little phone tag before we got a time sorted out (same thing getting notified that the work was done - as my schedule was open,  I'd dropped the car early and told them just fit it in to the work flow where it was convenient for them).
Work was great - top quality, and a very, very good price.  I'd definitely use them again.  Just remember that they're not a big shop, so you may end up needing to take the initiative in communications.....which is worth iit, considering the work they do!

We were in bind to get our seats done and Joe, who is the owner and manager was a straight shooter gave us a reasonable price and completed the job as promised. I want everybody to know this company has earned by business forever. I highly recommend them.

I did a Google search and their name was related to a fancy kit to install an adjustable lumbar support in the seat. I went down there and talked to them. They told me that they don't know if it would fit my car but all they had to do was instead of having this whole fancy adjustment rebuilt in my seat, they could just put a pad under the seat and get the job done for a quite cheaper price. It was a great personal service. They looked at what my problem was and proposed a reasonably priced solution. After I tested out for a couple of days, I came back because the cushion wasn't adjusted on the right spot so they readjusted it a little bit for me. They did the work at the time I made the appointment.

After I had my 2009 Pontiac Vibe a couple of months I was experiencing significant back pain. I finally figured out it was due to lack of lumber back support in the drivers seat. After driving around with a rolled up towel behind my lower back for a couple of weeks, I started researching what to do. I didn't really want to turn around and sell the car and start looking all over again, although I saw some reports from people that had done exactly that. I finally found a description of an after-market adjustable lumbar support device online. Precision Auto Upholstery was listed as a dealer so I looked up their location and went in. I figured it would cost me $200 - $300, but I was getting pretty desperate.
After I explained what I needed, the mgr at Precision said that he did not think that the unit I was looking at would fit the seats in the Vibe, but he thought all I really needed was a lumbar pad. He estimated the work would run about a $100 and we set up an appointment to get the work done. At the appointed time I dropped the car off and walked across to the Holiday station to get some coffee and a doughnut while I waited. After 45 minutes or so I returned. The work was already completed. The mgr said that it was less work than they had anticipated so the charge would only be $75. I cheerfully paid the tab and went on my way. After a couple of days I returned and said that I thought the pad was a little too low in my back. They came out and adjusted the location of the pad on the spot. There were no additional charges.
I was very pleased with the work and the response from Precision Auto and have been happily driving without back pain ever since.

Very friendly and service was completed by the next day. These guys are great, and did a very good job.

7 year old Jetta GLI had a 6 inch tear in the seam of the drivers side seat, using two different thread types and colors, dropped the car off before work, and was available to pick up the same day looking as good as new, thread matched perfectly

The repair was excellent, but more importantly, while there, I saw some of the amazing work they do. We've been searching for a good upholster for several years. Precision is the best we've ever seen.

I caused a large rip in the driver's seat of my Acura. The dealer wanted a very large sum of money for the repair and said it would be several days before they could do the work. I called Precision after finding them on Angie's List and drove out there that same morning for a quote. I worked with Daryl and he said to just bring the car back the next morning and they'd replace the panel and dye it to match and I'd be on my way the same day. I dropped the car off the next morning and around 5 hours later Daryl called to let me know it was all set. I expected to see some difference in the panel with the originals, but the work was so well done, I couldn't tell the difference and neither could anyone else I showed the car to!

They did a fantastic job! The leather seat panel had to be replaced and the seat 'dyed' to match the leather seats in the car. They suggested also to re-dye the passenger front seat given the wear so that the overall result would be 'like new' given the backseat looked great. The total job was done in a day, even though they asked for two days in case the dye process took longer. The staff were friendly, providing great service, giving good recommendations on leather care, and leaving the car tidy.

They did a great job, they wanted to make sure the materials were not a problem and got right back with us. If you want to use them they would be a great company to go with. I would recommend them and use them again for upholstery work.

I called on a Monday and I was able to get the work done two days later. Great timing! Darryl was friendly and very helpful in working with me, describing what needed to be done. I received an accurate estimate for the seat repair first, then Darryl called me with further information about what it would cost to repair the seat heaters. The work was done professionally and was done on time. Darryl recommended vinyl on sides of the seats because this is not the part that people sit on and there was a perfect match. The prices was what I expected, service was professional and friendly.

Excellent, price, service and follow through was exceptional.
