It was after hours. They did motor repair on short notice during the cool season. They got right in and repaired it without charging phenomenally.

I have an annual contract with them to do all of my maintenance. They built all of our houses so I will keep using them. They are an A, they are great. The price is fine. I would absolutely use them again. Their total maintenance plan. I temporarily went to another company and when I used them they were horrible and they didn't do half of the things I was paying for before with Heating & Cooling Two. I didn't care for their customer service or their maintenance contract. So I went back to Heating & Cooling Two. They are great, and they cleaned up very well.

They do excellent work, price was very good. The price was much lower than other in area. They were very clean and left no mess, hauled every thing out. Very professional workers.

It naturally occurred after hours on a weekend just before Thanksgiving. I spoke with the on-call staff and after reviewing my situation over the phone, he encouraged me to not have him come out at the premium rate and wait until morning. He arrived the next morning and gave the option of a repair vs a replacement. Given the age of system and balance of the two, we elected to replace. They were able to have it arranged the next day. We have worked with this team since they did installs of our original build in 2004 and have never been disappointed in the quality of the service we have received. Our total price for install was $5368, but with discounts and tax credits it comes to $3768

When the time comes to make a big purchase, I am the kind of person who does extensive research before I buy. So when our gas furnace needed to be replaced, I started by reading the ratings and reviews at the Better Business Bureau, Angie’s List, and Twin Cities Consumer Checkbook. In addition I read up on ratings and reviews for furnace manufacturers, and read about what was going on in the industry as a whole. Oh! And BTW, I have the better part of a minor in Industrial arts, and over the years (I’m 67), I have done a lot of work in mechanical areas, even though I didn’t earn my living in “the trades”. In the end, I think an article from Angie’s list summed it up best: “For most purchases we make, you pick the brand first, then go to a dealer or retailer.” “However, HVAC dealers are actually the manufacturers.” “There are about six HVAC equipment manufacturers in the U.S. today, but they operate under more than 150 brand names.” “Most of the components that make up these brands’ products are made by even fewer companies: Emerson, Johnson Controls and Honeywell.” “They all utilize very rigid quality processes incorporating multimillion dollar machines that produce nearly mistake-proof products.” “So, what’s the big, clear-cut difference? The installing contractor.” See: [*** Link removed ***] I narrowed my search down to two highly rated contractors who serve the north metro. I think it’s important that the contractor not have to travel across the metro in rush hour traffic to fix my furnace when it quits at -20 degrees. We chose Heating and Cooling Two (Maple Grove), and we couldn’t be happier that we did. The salesman really knew his business. We asked him a lot of hard (technical and practical) questions, and he had a lot of solid answers. There was no hard sell at all. He laid out bids on three different models. Unlike the other contractor who gave us a carbon copy bid that was extensively lacking in details, the computer generated, printed out bids from Heating and Cooling Two were colorful, detailed, and very easy to understand. With things laid out in printed form, it was easy to make comparisons between various furnaces, and easy to make a decision about which furnace (and air conditioner) to buy. They were also about $425 less expensive than the other contractor. The installation of the furnace and air conditioner went very well. It was a two person team, and it took them all day to uninstall the old furnace and install the new furnace (and re-route the gas water heater). The quality of their workmanship was excellent. We highly recommend Heating and Cooling Two in Maple Grove without reservation.

I have been using this company for over 8 years for my service on my heating and a/c system.  They have not failed me and have always provided superior service on my old system. 

 It came time for me to replace and I went with them based on this past service record,  Yes I could have gotten 3 or more bids with that 3-500 dollar swing in bids but its more than that to me and that falls squarely on service because of these highly sophisticated heating and ac systems.

Everyone I dealt with was highly professional.  The installer Jarred was just wonderful and supervised the job to the letter.  Jarred was very attentive and listened to my install concerns I had for the install.. The job took about 6.5 hours and went smoothly.  Job site was cleaned thoroughly after the install.

Great. It is a 10 year old AC and had never had a tune up. Their guy came out, cleaned everything out great, and replaced a couple of starters on the AC that were going bad, and which would have resulted in the AC not working. He didn't have all the parts, but was able to make a few calls and do all the work the same day.

The work was done really well. The furnace has operated great and I've had no issues with heat going off.

The fresh air exchanger was not operating normally and starting to make noise. Complex multi level HVAC system originally installed 10 years ago by the company when the townhome was built. Technician was very professional and knowledgeable. Fixed the problems -- burned out motor and a nosy motor and explained what was happening. Could not have asked for better service--on time and done within the hour. Would use them again for all my HVAC problems.
