Ceramic Tileworks

The tile is good quality, however, the company does not want to own their mistakes. We purchased tile as the warehouse was closing and our tile was sold to someone else accidentally later that. I understand that mistakes happen, however, the expectation is for the company to own and make up for that mistake. Instead, they offered me a contractor discount and some tile cleaner for the issues. Instead of price matching a slightly more expensive tile, they made me pay extra for their mistake. Seems very silly that they wouldn’t swallow an $80 mistake they made. The customer service is what warranted this negative review. I would understand if my project was more than 90 square feet and the price difference was significant but that is not the case here. We had to pay more for tile we settled on and like less out of necessity and an issue they caused themselves.

They assisted us in selecting ceramic tile and fixtures for our bathroom remodels. All of the people we came in contact with were extremely pleasant and helpful.

I used Ceramic Tileworks at the International Market Square Showroom to pick out tile for a backsplash.We have been to many tile stores recently and worked with many nice sales people around town, but Deanna Carlson , the design consultant here, is the cream of the crop. She is patient, kind, knowledgeable and has a great eye for colors and designs. She helped come up with ideas we hadn't thought of and we ended up with something we were very happy with. If you are looking for someone to help with the process of choosing tile, save yourself some time and go to Ceramic TIleworks at nternational Market Square and ask for Deanna.

After bringing home numerous tile samples from three other tile stores and not finding a tile that looked good with our new quartz countertop and old cabinets, we discovered Ceramic Tileworks and found a tile in their showroom that looked great with our countertop and cabinets. We went back to the store two to three weeks later and were told the tile had been discontinued. Luckily, their buyer made some calls and was able to locate enough for our kitchen backsplash. We also purchased 1 x 1 glass tile for an accent row. They referred us to Pat Barnes, an independent contractor, who did an excellent job installing the tile. Pat came to our house four times including once to give us an estimate and once to prep one of the walls. He was always on time and very professional. He offered advice on what type of grout, caulk, and sealer to purchase. We applied the sealer ourselves. The backsplash looks beautiful, and we are very pleased! When the job was completed we had quite a bit of tile left over. Ceramic Tileworks took it back, no questions asked, and gave us a full refund.

Kevin Dickinson was awesome. He is an old school tile layer who is creative and can do other designs besides just square. He can do diagonal, block style, and other unique designs.
