Animal Boarding Kennels
We have used the Paw periodically over the past 2 years. My dog loves it! It is obvious they love animals. I have used the daycare and the overnight boarding. I would recommend their service.

Animal Boarding Kennels
We have used The Paw many times since they opened a number of years ago, for two different dogs and 1 cat. We have boarded our dogs and brought them for daycare many times and boarded our cat a few times during some longer trips. We have always been pleased with the care and attention our animals have received and how we have been treated by the staff, as well. As our former dog got up in years and was not as active, they always gave him special love and care. Our current dog gets excited a block away and can't get out of the car fast enough once we arrive. You can tell everyone loves him and he returns that love. It is a little expensive, but we think it's worth it for good care.

Animal Boarding Kennels
Left our dog for one night because we were out of town for a wedding. We regularly take our dog to the Paw for daycare, perhaps once a week, because we have come to trust them and because he has so much fun. The care that they give the animals is exceptional and I was very pleased with his stay.

Animal Boarding Kennels
Great, my dog was very nervous getting there for his first time, they assured me that they would introduce him to the group slowly before throwing him out, when his first day didn't go well they weren't sure but assured me they would try again carefully, which was nice to know that they cared, so I asked them to try it again maybe with a smaller group and that seemed to be the key, anytime they have any questions they call me first before just making assumptions, overall everything well smoothly

Breed discrimination: We used this facility twice. The first time, they told us that they would let our dog out to socialize with other dogs, although they were not certain whether they would use the large or small dog time since she is right on the weight border of 50 pounds. It turns out that they did not let her out with other animals at all. The second time, they told us bluntly that "her breed plays too rough", and she would not be allowed out with other animals. This is in spite of our first time there watching an aggressive golden retriever come straight from the large dog time to its owner. The dog in question growled and tried to lunge at our dog. She hid behind my legs for protection, but it is our dog that is too rough. I can understand the populace at large having prejudice to "bully breed" dogs and believing the misconceptions about such dogs being inherently aggressive, but I would, and do, expect better awareness from a professional animal handling service. The dog in question is intimidated by an 18 pound cat. We don't tolerate racism in humans, why should we do so against animals? If it were not for our NEED to have her taken care of while we were out of town, this lying to us to win our patronage, would have caused us to NOT leave her there.

Overall, everything went well. It is a very nice facility and the people are friendly. They have a pool and artificial turn for dogs with allergies, and the dog seemed happy, although it is a bit pricey.
