transmission repair

Description of Work: Nick checked out the transmission and found that we needed a new one. He offered a rebuilt or a used. We went with the used. He ordered it and installed it. He also noticed that the oil was low so he changed the oil. He has warrantied the work. He was very courteous and talked so we could understand what was wrong and needed to be done. He didn't talk down to us. He was very respectful. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

 + -1 moreI had been going to Wellner's auto repair for the last year but they closed recently. I was looking for a new auto repair shop and found Nick's on Angie's list. One of the pipes on my car exhaust had slipped out of the clamp and needed to be reconnected. I called Nick and took the car to his shop the next morning. He reconnected the exhaust pipe and welded it in place. He did a good job fixing my car exhaust and he didn't charge me for it. I'm happy that I found a good reliable local auto repair shop that isn't part of a big chain of stores. I'll be going back to his shop the next time I need work done on my car.

 + -1 moreMaking an appointment was quick, he was able to get my van in and tires ordered and on within a very short time (less than a week). When I asked about the price he didn't try the traditional "up-sell" on anything, As a woman going into a garage it can be intimidating but he was very professional and listened to my concerns about my tires and my driving needs and didn't try to push me into the top of the line tires but suggested some tires that were exactly what I needed and within my budget. This wasn't the 1st time I had gone to Nick's Car Care for my auto repairs and maintenance and it wont be my last, I have also referred my family and friends and everyone seems quite pleased with the service they have received. Definitely an A+ garage for customer service!!!
Description of Work: I bought a full set of new tires, wiper blades (one for the back of my van that is pink that some of the money helps the fight against breast cancer), and got an oil change.
