1st visit nice guy showed up, sprayed for 30 min, acted knowledgeable, said that the roaches would be gone within several weeks, took our $300 check, smiled and left. Thank goodness for a 90 day guarantee. Well they came out 3 more times, each time becoming more rude and hostile. They eventually refused to come out again if we did not pay $100 per time. They also refused to work with our schedule, they were only available in our area once a month. If we were not available the one day they serviced our area, we had to wait until the following month. Long story short, the Roaches multiplied like crazy during their service months. Since we have hired Adams Pest Control. Long story short in only one month we are at the point where in the last 4 days we have seen one roach. Adam's seems to be spraying miracle poison.

"The short story is ..we had poor cooperation, filth, and hoarding of food and candy. The long story is we have Christian family with 5 kid s being home schooled by their mother, who is overwhelmed by all of her duties. Child care cooking, cleaning,laundry,as well as education. 1st off we came on Jan/21/13 for $180.00 plus tax NOT $300.00. I was not present for this service ,but, Joe Schmidt with over 30 years experience did the job.Joe went back in Feb. and in March I was with Joe at the Davis home. Where upon moving the refrigerator and stove and cupboard found a buildup of filth. I told her that we need to do a full clean out again and she should be ready by having all dishes and food out of all upper and lower cabinets. She had cleaned the filth but was not ready for the full treatment. So i set up another date and again she was not ready, and I would spray and bait as best I could. And set up another date for spraying I even called on a Friday to remind her I would be there on Monday and still no cooperation. This is where the frustration was kicking in. I May when they still were not totally prepared I took it on myself to remove dishes, pots and pans and the glassware on the top of the cabinets . This is where I found the hoarded candy and cookies. I removed over 1/2 pound. Note WE had a problem In the false Ceiling in the basement and I believe the son had another stash hoarded there... To motivate the Davis family I charged another $100.00 on June 10th They were mostly ready.. Mr Davis was present and said to me.......Come back one more time and I will write up a glowing review on Angies list....... So I did They were totally ready and We did a full clean out of the whole house . Only one roach came out and I felt the problem was solved. Until this review showed up six moths later... I believe Adams Pest control had great success because we had trained the Davis family how to prepare correctly. PS The review came from Mr Davis work place ..such a good civil servant. . For several years, we had him come out in the fall. When it gets cold the mice worked their way in to our old farm house. He blocked a lot of openings that existed. This reduced the number of mice significantly. Very nice and friendly. All the non-excellent ratings are because we tried multiple times to have him come out when selling our house (early 2011). We never heard back. Not sure what happened as he was always responsive before. Years of great service cause me to give him the benefit of the doubt for that one time. We did not live in the Mankato area in the fall of 2011, else we would have tried to use him again.

I live in minnesota and lately it has been very rainy and it has been bringing out the bugs in my home. I needed a extermanator as soon as possiable so i called around and checked on prices and who had the most input and advice for my questions. American Pest Control was the best priced and is locally owned and opperated for the past 30 years. When i called the secetary was very nice and put the request though i got a call back within 10 min. I had a appoitment set up for the next day. I was very impressed with the kindness and the knowledge of the company and i have not see any bugs or have had any issues since.
