Cost doubled after we made the initial agreement.  My two needs were to match the existing wood and choose a glass that would hide the view of my washer and dryer.  He said he could do those - many delays later, doors were installed.  The wood is too light (it was varnished before brining in to my house, so could not be changed at that point), and glass is transparent.  This has been the worst home improvement project I have ever completed.
