Great! Mom was impressed that she spoke to a live person. They came out the same day with an estimate. She hired him on the spot. Each snowfall so far they've been there to clear her driveway 2 times. She's very happy

Got a bid from Anderson Lawn and scheduled the service. The company did not show on the scheduled date and for several days thereafter. I called the company and they said they would be at my house next week. After they finally showed up I inspected their work and found that almost the entire lawn still had a huge amount of thatch.  I called the owner to complain and he angrily said he would send the crew back out and abruptly hung up on me. After inspecting the lawn a second time it looked as though not much else had been done.
I have spent a couple hours each day trying to finish the job myself but it will take a very long time because of the amount of work they left undone.

They did a great job of cleaning the yard and hauling away a huge pile of lawn debris.

We had been using them for years. The last time they came out the leaves from our yard were blown under our fence into all 3 of our neighbors yard and left there. That made for crabby neighbors. When I went to use them in 2013 and mentioned it to the owners I was told oh I can't believe that, the guy who did our yard was supposedly one of the best. I thought to myself that's like calling me liar. Why would I even make that up. It happened the previous year and I wanted to make sure it was not going to be repeated this time (I wasn't asking for any refund, just didn't want it to happen again).
Needless to say since I had them booked we had them come out but had already made our minds up that it would be the last time and I would no longer be recommending them to our neighbors.
On another note make sure to remove your downspouts because they get stepped on (we never mentioned this to them, just made sure we removed them the next time).
Make sure they also wait until the yard has dried up. They tore up our yard that last year because the snow had just melted and the lawn was very wet.
FYI I might have the dates wrong but that's the best I can remember without pulling out old tax information. I know we used a different company last year and this year that we got off of AngiesList

He waited until the city cleared the streets and then came and plowed the snow in the driveway so that we didn't end up additional snow at the end of the driveway.

Anderson took us on late fall when most services were full. They are prompt and do excellent work.

I like the reliability and quality of work. They are usually out there at 3 in the morning.

THB Board of Directors has divided opinions about the quality of their services. I think they performed as good a job as they could in spite of the worst winter in many years.

I find every one to be conscientious in their jobs, courteous and ambitious. I will continue to use them.

I highly recommend them!

Lawn mowing, mulching, snow removal

They're always courteous their timeliness of getting over, specially for snow removal, you don't have to wait for them 'cause I need that people, definitely cleaned up before I go to work and they were able to meet my needs. They have prompt service and they get back to you in a very timely manner. They did what they said they were going to do. I've only talked to them over the phone, I've never met them but they seem very professional.

I've been using Anderson Lawn for years. They do excellent work, no complaints. The snowplowing is on time and thougough.

Mike runs a very conscientious and professional business, and uses quality, slow-release chemicals. I especially like that his company is a family business.

In general I should not have continued my relationship with Andersons as long as I did. My mistake but I feel the need to pass on the word so no one else will make the same mistake.

Mike, the owner, came out the day after I called about snow removal - very quick. He actually plowed my driveway when he was here, which was great! I guess I would be happier with how much I spent if it had snowed more. I had the choice of paying per visit ($35 I think) or for the 1/2 season, since it was already so late. In retrospect, paying for the 1/2 season was a mistake. My mistake - bummer.

They show up and they do a good job. The price is competitive.
