Time will tell if the job holds but I can't say enough about Dick's responsiveness and knowledge about my problem. I would recommend he and his crew to anyone with a similiar problem.
He returned later for balance noting he'd be back to install electrical box for sump pump which is currently connected by an extension cord. It is now October, I have emailed and called, no response since April.
Twice I got him on his cell phone. Once he was about to get on a plane and couldn't talk. The second time he was about to lose cell phone connection and would call be back which didn't happen. I called two weeks ago and his cell voice mail box was full. I called his business line and that voice mail box was full. I followed up with an email to which he has not responded.
He did not provide the written lifetime warranty that was stated in his bid. I have asked for this as well as the install of the electrical box. I have given up on receiving either.
"I have spoken with this member, whom I have never done any work for, and he said he would eliminated this report from Angie's List. To date, he has not complied."
"It's curious to me how people react when they were unable to pay when the project was completed. I have never gotten a phone call or a letter from these customers regarding any problems or dissatisfaction of the work, and we have a written lifetime warranty. Payment was finally made in full."
"Everything that we proposed was completed timely. She was acting as the general contractor on this huge project and I believe she was over her head. Coordinating the project was difficult for her and she was over budget. Other contractors had done some of the work which she is unhappy with. I have never received a letter from them regarding any problems with our work. Our work has a lifetime warranty. The work was very difficult, but it was done professionally, clean, and promptly. When extra work was required by our company because the other contractors couldn't complete their project, she was reluctant to pay us for the additional work. Again, she was overwhelmed. It appears that the only complaints I get are from customers who have difficulty paying. Our project is complete and we have been paid in full. We will stand by any warranty issues that may arise. To date there have been none."
"This project's payment is is still due. They even wanted to know if the sump pumps would be damaged if sitting in the water. For some people there is no hope."
