Great Garage Floors

Work was performed as expected in a timely manner and the floor looked great when the job was completed, but now two years later when we are having an issue with a crack in the floor, we are unable to get any response from the company. We have tried multiple phone calls and e-mails over a number of months without success. I am very disappointed that they are unwilling to provide customer support and assess what we might need to do to keep our garage floor from further damage.

My wife and I are extremely pleased with the end result of this project. It looks so good. The epoxy coating on the parameter foundation blocks and the concrete step to the house ads a perfect touch to the new clean look. I can now sweep the floor without dealing with concrete chips, dust, rough surface and cracks. We are also extremely pleased with the entire process of the project, including inspection and estimate, work scheduling, work completion and final inspection and satisfaction follow up. Terry, Ron, the lead workman and partner were all great to work with. I told the workmen the reason I chose Great Garage Floors was that they had done a neighbors garage floor 5 years ago and I really liked the job that was done and how well it was holding up. The lead workman told me he had done that job too. I could sense his pride that he takes in doing excellent work. The cost was competitive and obviously much less than doing a full concrete floor replacement.

Ron Esau was great to work with. He fully explained the process and his choice of epoxy chemicals. I was leaning towards a more expensive job that used polyaspartic acid but learned both from independent research and from Ron that the more expensive treatments just cure faster and are not more rugged. I saved almost $1200 going with Great Garage Floors and I am confident that Ron will stand behind his product. The job was completed on time and done in a very professional manner.

Fantastic experience from the beginning. An on-site meeting and bid was scheduled right away. The project started and completed exactly on schedule. We received a prompt update each day advising when they would be arriving on scene, and when they had finished for the day. The finished floor looks FANTASTIC. Also provided were helpful care instructions. Definitely money well spent. Would highly recommend to others.

Ron was extremely accommodating with his time and place to review the proposal, and to discuss the specifics within it. He was clear and very concise, and he brought a sample of my desired color sample - Vikings Purple and Gold. His price was very competitive. The (2) tradesmen were on time and accommodated a midday start due to the closing time on my house. They were kind yet hard working. They had all of the proper tools and equipment to complete to project without delay. I would highly recommend Great Garage Floor. They were very professional and met and or exceeded all of my expectations. You will be very happy with their workmanship and follow up.

I met with Ron and he described the project and how it would all go. He came with workers and oversaw the project. It was completed on time and the finished product was beyond our expectations. We are very happy with the floors!

They did a great job on the garage floor. They were very accommodative as far as scheduling goes because I had a really poofy schedule because we are building a home and because of the builder, there was some issues there but they were very accommodative. The only issue I had was, they knocked the garage door so it wouldn't work properly. They weren't there to basically follow up with it to fix that. It's the garage door track, or the opener/sensors. That's about it really. Luckily enough I had the garage door company come out, take a look and fix it. They definitely get a A if they would just follow through on...if they mess something up, they should follow through on it. It was them that actually messed up my garage door and opener. They should stand by, 'We'll take care of it'. I didn't really get that from them. They were like, 'Oh we'll come take a look at it'. Their workers messed it up so they should fix it. I shouldn't have to scramble around or call a garage door company to come out and take a look at it after they are done. It's expensive but it's supposed to last 20 years. The guy who I was dealing with, the manager/owner or whatever he was, was very responsive. It just all comes down  to that one last little thing of my garage door not closing. I don't think it's very professional that if you screw something up, the client has got to try to fix it.

The Great Garage Floor sales representative gave me a complete and accurate description of the process which was two days in my case.  The worst part for me was clearing everything out of the garage.  The owner of the company came out to make sure the men doing the work understood what they were to do and he came out again the day after the work was completed to inspect it.  They did what they said they would do. They did it when they said they would do it. They were a pleasure to work with.

Very responsive to a little adjustment which I requested.

Tom Mason came in late July, showed us sample finishes, made suggestions
and gave us a price quote.  We agreed and made a down payment.  A few
days later they called and scheduled the project for Sept 3.  We later
had to reschedule due to another project which would not be finished in
time.  They were quite accommodating in the process.  The three man crew
arrived about 9am on day one.  I was at first a bit apprehensive when
it appeared that only one of them spoke English.  I soon realized I had
nothing to be concerned about.  It appeared they knew what they were
doing and were experienced working together.  I noted how they patched a
crack so I asked if the same method would work for some cracks in the
concrete apron outside the garage door.  I was told it would so I called
the office and negotiated a price.  The only drawback is that the color
of the patch doesn't match very well.  The crew was here about 5
hours.  They returned the next morning to put a top sealer on the
flakes.  They were here I think less than 2 hours.  They were fairly
neat. We later did find some over spray of flakes and adhesive near the
bottom of the service doors and a few areas of the walls.  A few days
later Tom stopped by to check the job, see if we were satisfied and
collect the balance we owed.
