Andrew and the crew did a great job of trimming three trees including one very large oak tree. Work, including cleanup, was done very efficiently. We are quite satisfied.

Josh and his team did an outstanding job of taking care of a large number of mature buckthorn, trees and brush across the entire back half of my lot. The team was friendly, punctual and very professional. I would absolutely hire them again and would recommend you considering them for any job involving tree removal, buckthorn removal or other services they provide.

It went great. Joe and his team made quick work of the pine and the large tree needed special care as it was up against the neighbors power lines as well as being a sprawling mess. Their trimming will ensure the tree will last for many decades. Also, Joe an his team did a great job of cleaning up. There was very little evidence left even though there was a lot of material after their trimming. I would definitely hire them again!

We did 4 bids, True Tree gave us the lowest offer. They had a big crew of 6 or 7 workers. This was shortly after our late April snow of about 12 inches. They cleaned up petty well even though we still had 9 or 10 inches of snow still on the ground.

They came in & trimmed our trees & carefully removed limbs that were near power & cable lines. They did a good job at a fair price & we would hire them again,

Their price seems comparable.  They did a great job.  They came to our door, so you can't get more responsive than that.  They were recommended by our daughter.  They were here right away.  We'd use their service again.  They seem to know what they are doing and they do it well.  Took care of everything they told me they would.

Exceeded expectations

I moved into a new house last Summer. The trees were very overgrown. A four man crew came out and trimmed all the trees to my specifications. Overall, I was happy with the work and their timeliness in getting it done. They cleaned everything up well too.

I've hired other tree services and no other tree service did as good a job as they did. They cleaned up and I would be very willing to hire them again. After the job was completed, I noticed that the roof had a lot of debris as a result of the cutting, I called them a few days later about the debris. Jason said that they will take care of it. It was a very good experience. I highly recommend them.

Several additional trimming suggestions were provided, at a very reasonable cost, with no pressure to do the work. Agreed upon deal work was done with great professionalism and job site clean-up. Josh and his crew were efficient and effective. Josh explained what exactly they would do to each tree and why (cleaning off weight, helping growth be more upward vs. outward, etc.). The work was done quickly and the end effect was great-looking, well-trimmed trees. Only difficulty was getting the appointment set up - took some phone/email tag. But generally great service.

Josh did a wonderful job! He contacted me promptly, and we arranged a mutually convenient time to meet to discuss the project. Josh explained what work he wanted to do for the trees and why. Two trees in our front yard were overgrown, and needed the canopy raised and rubbing/unhealthy branches removed. One tree in back yard needed dead branches removed and reshaping. He completed the work that afternoon and removed all the debris. Josh followed up to assure that I was happy with the work, as I wasn't home when it was done. The trees look great and will be healthier now.

True Tree came out within a few days of initial contact. We walked the yard together and discussed what would be covered by the special. 3 of our trees would be covered by the coupon but we needed another 2 trimmed and one removed. The total additional costs for that was $175, very reasonable so we added them to the scope of work. We made an appointment for the following week and they came out on time, cut the trees and cleaned up all the mess. I am very happy with their service and would use them again. 

I was extremely pleased with Josh and his team.  I had one 46 year old silver maple tree taken down and removed, along with a similar tree pruned to give it a better, more rounded shape and to remove branch hanging over my & my neighbor’s roof.

They also removed the large stump from the 46 year old silver maple using the biggest stump grinder I’ve ever seen and moved the resultant mulch to a garden area. They took care to remove the roots that had grown above ground over the years.

The team was very skilled and polite.  I was quite satisfied with the job.  I was especially pleased with the cleanup when they finished.  It was amazing. Other than a little bit of sawdust by the base of the stump one would never know that the tree service just left.

It went well.  The crew did a good job of felling rotting oak trees and then cutting them up.  Josh promised free stump grinding which he did a few weeks later.  Did a great job for a reasonable price.  

Josh and his crew arrived on time and did a very professional job.  All branches and residue were cleaned up and removed to my
satisfaction.  I would use them again.  Contrary to other reviews, they were very courteous.

They did an excellent job trimming my 2 oak trees.  They were very thorough, professional, and courteous.  Josh informed me about everything that he and his team performed.  They removed almost all the dead branches, and branches that were low to the ground, or could touch my roof.  They also did a great job cutting branches within the power wires.  They cleaned up after themselves so well that you could not tell that anyone had done any tree work!  I would undoubtedly use them again, and recommend them to my neighbors and friends!

The team was in the neighborhood doing work and stopped by with a flyer.  Some trees in the forest behind our house had been hit by lightening and were in danger of falling so I asked them to take a look.  They put us on the list for that very day, arrived at the time promised and got the job done as described.  Also, I should note they were very polite.  I would recommend them to anyone.

We've used Josh, Jason, Matt and the rest of the True Tree Solutions crew at several properties. They always answer their phone, they get to work right away, and they clean up all the debris as they go. In this instance, we had just purchased a new property which need tree trimming. They came out and trimmed 9 large trees and removed some improper tension lines the old owner had installed. One large limb was hanging over a neighbor's house and the True Tree team took great care to lower it safely to the ground so it didn't damage anything. These guys don't waste a lot of time or money on fancy invoices or flyers, but they do a good job for the trees, they do what they say they'll do, and their prices are fair. We will hire them again.

Please let me begin by saying that we gave True Tree Solutions every opportunity to do the right thing and make us happy. Josh came recommended by a good friend of ours so we decided to go with him, even though their estimate was $350.00 higher than our lowest of three other bids. When he came for the estimate we discussed the removal of a dead ash tree in our back yard, the stump, and a fairly large pile of branches in our back yard. Josh assured us that they were "professionals" and they would leave the yard beautiful, minus a tree and the pile of brush.
        The tree in question had not only our power line through it, but that of our neighbors as well. So the logistics of dropping the lines and working around the weather took some time. When the day did come, My wife and I both took time off of work to be there and discuss with Josh the particulars. The first problem we encountered was our satellite dish that is attached to my deck. It had to be taken down. Josh assured me that they would put it back up WITH the zip ties to hold the cable in place. This did not happen.Their crew did go to work super fast and got the tree down it what seemed to me as record time. At witch time the "foreman" (Josh was no longer anywhere to be seen) approached me and asked if I was interested in any of the wood since I had a fire pit in my yard. I said that it would be great but I had no saw or axe to make it "fire pit size" so if they could cut it down, yes, but if not please take everything with them. Then I went into the house and left them to it. When Josh returned I asked him if a check was okay. He asked "what did my written estimate say?" I said there was no written estimate, only what he had said to us. He seemed puzzled and went back to his truck (assuming to look for his copy of the non-existent estimate). When he returned he had no estimate and gruffly said we don't take checks you'll have to go get cash. So as they finished up, I left and went to the bank. When I returned they were all but done. Sweeping up my driveway and street. I gave Josh the $1300.00, was told they would be back in a couple of weeks for the stump and I went back to work. Because they had been recommended to us (and I needed to return to work), I did not even think to check their work. They only took half of the brush pile they were contracted to take, completely destroyed my raspberry bushes (wiped them out), left me "fire wood" that is 3 to 4 feet long and as big as the trunk around (can't do anything with it, but put it in my "brush pile"), didn't clean anything up in the yard (including leaving their equipment tied in my trees and our swing in the middle of the yard), and didn't put my dish back up.
         We received a call from Josh the day after they were there about his misplaced equipment and we discussed him calling later that day so he could come by and pick it up. I decided to wait to discuss my concerns face to face... he never called or showed up. We then received a call from Jason, two months after our service, he left a message asking if we still wanted our stump ground. If we did, leave a check for $100.00 in the door. He called one more time and my wife let him have it. I called the next day to tell him of all our complaints. Jason said how sorry he was that this happened and that if Josh had known at the time he would have fixed it. Then he said that he would call and tell Josh of this and that he was still in the cities grinding stumps that day. I explained that what I would expect, was to grind my stump for free (not $100.00) for all the inconvenience we experienced. Josh came by that next day, took his equipment and left us our stump. I would not ever use them again and would never recommend them to anyone. Josh seems capable at first glance but please beware. Once he got paid, he could care less about customer service or his "satisfaction guarantee".

One of Josh's crew stopped by our house as they were working in Wayzata. I don't usually go for folks who show up randomly, but they offered a free estimate and I wondered, "Why not?"
Josh is a certified arborist and he surveyed my property and pointed out problem areas. Another arborist had stopped out a few months before so I already had an idea of what needed to be taken care of and what didn't. Josh's assessment was consistent with theirs. We had two Oask trees (about 50-60 feet tall) that had died over the winter due to Oak Welt. We also had two dead pines on the side of the house, but very close to the house. 
After talking through prices I decided to go for it.
He and his crew shared their insurance and licenese and allowed me to make copies. They were extremely organized, courteous and thoughtful to move any potential breakable items out of the way of the tree falling zone. They cleaned up all the brush and followed through on everything they had promised to.
I will be speaking with Josh and his team again this Fall in regards to some other trees we need to work with (they are only supposed to be cut in the fall). I'd definitely recommend these guys.

We have always wanted to get a few of our trees cleaned up and these guys did a fantastic job! They had so many people on there crew it was fast! A guy in the tree and people below cleaning up the yard! It was awesome! I highly recommend these guys, i really liked them.
