 + 0 moreThe initial experience was OK. Robert spent some time in doing Landscape designs. We got is approved from the Architectural committee. The prices were higher than normal.(30% Material + 30% Labor + 40% Profit) Robert had measured the SOD area 3 times but when the final #'s came the measurement was 5000 - 7500 sq. ft more. So, the SOD budget was blown. The concrete edging kept cracking up. But, the main problems were we had to push Robert to get things done. There was no supervision on the work.Some trees were planted outside our lot lines. No soil test (that was promised to us) was done. The result was that many of our shrubs didn't last for more than 4 weeks. These were never replaced. A few of our trees didn't survive the winter and they weren't replaced either (we were told that there is a 1 year warranty on the trees) More than $4000 worth of plant material was never replaced. There was no ownership from TJ's to finish the project and honor the warranty items. At the end, it was extremely frustrating. Robert never returned phone calls and his attitude was really bad.
Description of Work: We worked with T J Landscaping for doing the Plant beds, planting trees in the front yard & back yard. TJ's Landscaping referred to us : 1. Jirik SOD (for SOD) 2. Artesian Irrigation (for Irrigation & Rid-O-Rust system) 3. Len Skluzacek Construction (For Concrete curb edging)
