I called at 8 in the morning. They got me in same day a hour later. Unfortunately the visit was very sad for us. We had to put our cat down. Worst day ever. They were great in working with us. We were a bit emotional that day. I would highly recommend them. All the staff is great to work with. I thank them all so very much. Very caring vet. I am bring my other cat in for a routine visit next week.

I have been taking my pets to Southfork Animal Hospital for many years and have always had great experiences. The vets and assistants are exceptional. Bailey's primary vet is Kimberly Lenz, DVM but she has also been seen by Paula Schanck, DVM both are excellent. I have a very anxious Yorkie and everyone has been so kind and gentle with her. What prompted me to write in today was an interaction I had with Ashley via phone regarding a rx situation. Ashley was so helpful & reassuring. Everything always goes just fine. The staff is wonderful. They remember us and our pets. I would tell a friend that they do a good job.

They are very nice, because, I am new to the area, I am not used to the pricing, and I found them to be expensive. I have been seeing them only about a month. I found them on Angie's List.

Before I give my formal review, I would like to state that most of the vets in this clinic are fair. The vet techs are absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately, the few visits I had with the vet who is the owner at this clinic have ruined my experience with this clinic. I am providing a summary of one of those visits and follow-up phone calls.

I took my dog in and requested specific tests be performed based on the dog's health history and ongoing issues we were having. I took him in to see the clinic's main establishing vet and had to insist for the specific tests that focused on these ongoing issues. The vet insisted on doing a bunch of other tests that 1) had already been done and 2) didn't match my dog's symptoms (waste of time and money and stress for my dog). I also had to insist that the test I requested be sent to a specific place. She did listen to me, though disagreed with my observations. I am the one living with my dog every day, seeing exactly what is happening, how the dog would respond to things, and knew I was on the right track. The place the tests were sent offered free consultation with the vet. When I suggested she speak with them, she became very short with me and refused to use the free consultation. As most conventional vets do, she refused to listen to what I wanted to do naturally for my dog. Instead, she pushed Prednisone and very low rate dog food. Basically, she wanted to put a insufficient band-aid on my dog's issues that in the end didn't match his issues and would have made everything worse and more expensive. She also pushed for me to get a more than $1,000 procedure and even used the c-word -- cancer.

I called up another vet who was very willing to listen, trust in my observations, and work with me. Several months later and with another vet's help, my dog is doing better than ever -- never using prednisone, low-rate dog food, and he doesn't have cancer. I would never use the establishing vet for this clinic again.

They were more than professional- absolutely great to work with. And they earned new loyal customers.

They are very patient and they really check the dog out for other things while you are there. They knew he was there for an ear infection because that is what the groomer said but they still checked out all his overall health before they had us leave. They got us in straight from the groomer. I called and said what the groomer said and they put us right into an appointment right then. We literally went from the groomer to the Vet and home so we didn't have to bring him home then bring him back out.

My experience with them is always great; they are good with my dogs and good with me. They are quick to get you in for your appointments and don't make you sit and wait for a long time; so I like that. They are an A-plus in their service and I think their pricing is reasonable. My pet insurance covers a lot of the expenses we incur with my dog.

My overall experience was very good. I felt very confident and comfortable with them. They are good with animals and I will use them again in the future.

They are very expensive, but overall they are great. If my dogs are ever sick then they call to check up on them to see how they are doing. They are wonderful.

Our last visit was due to our dog had a sore on her thigh that was getting bigger, the vet took a look at it cleaned it up a bit and then gave us antibiotics. We think it may have been a bite for one of our other dogs while they were playing. A couple of days later they called to find out how she was doing. I really appreciate that. They never try to get us to have any work or test that are not needed. We live about 8 miles away and there are other clinics that we could go to that are closer but the I would continue to bring my pets there even if I lived futher away.

It went great. Our appointment was right on time. Every staff member that worked with us was extremely friendly and had a great deal of knowledge. We will be going back for future visits.

Very professional and courteous. They've been my vets for the last 5 years. Their prices are reasonable. Their staff are kind and efficient. The vets and technicians are knowledgeable and understanding. They've been very helpful with the care of my senior cats, as well kittens. The best vets I've been to in the Minneapolis area.
