We purchased this home in a wonderful old neighborhood but due to many years of neglect it was in desperate need of extensive remodeling. After our work was complete it was time to stage the home and put it on the market. I had reviewed and interviewed several home staging companies and concluded that Shar Sitter, owner of Rooms With Style was the right person for the job. Although the price was slightly more than others, I felt her sense of style, attention to detail and professionalism was worth it. She also pulled everything together and actually staged the home in an amazingly timely fashion. Shar staged the living room, dining room, maim floor bathroom, master suite, sitting room and master bath. Our realtors, friends, family and other realtors that have seen the house were blown away with Shar's work. Since seeing how Shar staged our house, our realtors contracted her to stage another one of their listings. After the house sold, Shar came in and quickly removed all of the furnishings and accessories, leaving the house in perfect condition. I highly recommend Shar Sitter and Rooms With Style and look forward to working with her on future projects.

My Realtor gave me the business card for Rooms With Style and Shar Sitter. She returned my call within 2 hours and we set up an appointment for 2 days later. I was very satisfied with her responsiveness. Shar was very professional but also personal as we went through my house and talked about ways in which I could stage each room so that it would appeal to a variety of potential buyers. She made recommendations on what pieces of furniture to take out of each room and then how to rearrange what was left to make the rooms look larger. She also gave me suggestions on organizing closets, setting up the bathrooms, and cleaning various surfaces that needed some touch-ups. We also went around the outside of the house and the yard, and again, she gave me very practical ideas and suggestions (for example, I had a flamingo-shaped wind chime hanging outside my front door and Shar suggested that I take it down because someone tall might hit their head on it. I moved it to a tree in the front yard). Following her ideas, I came up with several other changes of my own for staging my house. As I mentioned above, my house went on the market on a Thursday and by Sunday I had two offers!
