Rich Hansen Realtor

Rich Hansen helped us buy our house five years ago, and so he was our obvious choice when we went to sell it this year. Rich, and his wife Kay who works with him, are exceedingly hard-working, effective, and honest. Selling a house in this market is not easy, and Rich and Kay pulled it off. They were really good about advertising our house: they had an open-house for Realtors at the house, and circulated flyers to (I think) 200 other Realtors to let them know about it. They gave us many suggestions on how to prep the place for showing, and Rich was always really good about making suggestions without being pushy. When it came time to negotiate the offers we received, this was particularly challenging, since we received offers lower than we hoped (that's the market!) Rich was wonderful in helping us interpret the intentions of the potential buyers, in how to respond, and in negotiating the process for us. We've recommended Rich to others, who have been happy with him as well-we will continue to do so. [I can add further info from when Rich helped us buy our house five years ago; as a buyer's agent, one of his greatest strengths is his interest and knowledge in looking for repair issues around the house. He knows how homes are constructed, and has a lot of knowledge about what should be done correctly and how it can be done incorrectly. It was like having an amateur home inspector with us, which was great!]
