They came out with the estimate and we agreed on it, including paying 50% down. After that, it was horrible. After several last minute cancellations, they finally started the work. They said it would only be a week, so I paid him in full instead of paying the second half a few days later. He was bad at communicating, not answering my calls or emails. The appliance place was also trying to communicate with him to get this completed. It was a never ending battle to get him to respond or complete the job. I finally called the BBB and submitted my experience. He called shortly after that and said that he had no desire to come back to my home because I ruined his reputation! I told him I didn't want to start all over with another company, so we started the cycle over again to have him come and him not showing. He had communicated with the appliance people and made a deal that he would get rid of my old refrigerator, but didn't tell me, so I paid the whole fee. For months the old fridge was left in my home and the work was not done. In July, they finally showed up, and the cabinets were the wrong size. Yesterday, the guy finally finished. There was very little said, but at that point I had nothing left to say. It was so unprofessional and a terrible experience. This was a 2 year long struggle.
