We have a flood light on the SE corner of the house that lights up most of the driveway and top of the side door steps. However, this causes a shadow at the bottom of the steps and people cannot see where to step down. A handiman and former electrician was doing a small repair job for us & looked at the wiring for the wall switch for the soon to be new light. He informed us that the switch was missing a white wire and this was way above what he would attempt. Lake View Electric  had done some excellent work for us before so I called them again. Troy came out and evaluated the situation and set us up to have his electrician come out and do the work. When John showed up, we were hesitant and anticipating the worst. He had the new light installed, fished the wall, and hooked up in about a half hour. When doing a final test, he noted that the neutral wire was "flickering". He traced the cause to the basement connection to the garage and discovered that it  had come loose. He fixed this and now we have a bright light for when company comes. Lake View Electric does quality work at reasonable prices. All of the personnel have been great to work with and I can recommend this company for everyone's electrical needs. Stephanie K.

I was so happy. I had kind of emergency because my furnace had gone out at -3 deg outside and I blew some fuses with a heater I was using. I am 65 years old, this is the 5th house I have owned in my life and the first one with fuses. Plus I have a pacemaker so I just didn't want to go reaching in the darkness. The guy could have just come and laughed at me and I would not have blamed him. But he took his time, showed me which fuse went to what. And then explained how to figure how many watts I could use at one time.. It was a very pleasurable experience on a very difficult day. Finally got my heat on at 4:00 and thanks to Lakeview I had my lights on too.

Lakeview was able to fit us in very quickly. The contractor was very prompt, thorough and polite.
I appreciate that he came out for a small job. The trip charge was $30, compared to $50 for another company.

He showed up on time, did the job like he said he was going to do, and charged me exactly what he said.

Tim the electrician arrived on schedual and explained what needed to be done. He knew what he had to do and explained it as he went. He finished the job in approx 2.5 hours. It turned out as I expected.
