 + 0 moreWe couldn't be happier. Our new front yard by far exceeds our expectations. Heartland owner, Randy and his crew were professional yet friendly and accessible. The job was beautifully done in a timely manner and there was no problem when we added the patio halfway through the work. Randy has an excellent artistic sensibility and attention to detail, which really enhanced the outcome of our overall design. On top of all this, we had obtained three estimates for this job and Heartland came in at substantially below the other two estimates. As you can tell, we would recommend this company to anyone and we will definitely hire them for any future projects we have.
Description of Work: We needed extensive work to replace our front entrance steps (on a hillside), walkway and porch. This work included removing the old concrete and railroad ties and adding retaining walls, new plant beds and a patio. While we knew basically what we wanted, we required expert design advise when choosing the color and style of retaining wall stone and patio/step pavers. We also needed advise for the patio design and other details that came up as work progressed.

 + 0 moreRandy and his guys did a great job. The estimate he have us was very accurate and lower than some other builders could do with the same parameters. They were considerate, picked up their cigarette butts, and the quality of the work if quite high. He was also very helpful in helping us decide on the deck design in terms of our future home improvement projects. When installing the pet door, the guy measured our new dog, and decided he'd need a step to comfortably use the door, which he then built at no charge. We'll be using them again for later projects such as basement finishing.
Description of Work: They built a composite deck on our home that did not yet have one. They also installed a pet door in the wall of our home leading out to the deck.
