My contractor uses them for cabinets, and they do a great job. a stress free process and such an amazing quality!

We contacted Designed Cabinets as they provided the original cabinetry in our home. We wanted to replace existing an cabinet and add another. We provided them the original drawings they had prepared. A few weeks later we received an estimate which provided a price and general description of the product to be supplied along with a requirement for a 50% down payment and the balance to be paid upon completion. There was no estimate of a production schedule or installation/delivery date or time frame. I immediately contacted them to discuss the project and was advised that no drawings, sketches or production date could be provided until the down payment was made. I made the down payment and was told the designer would contact us to begin the process. I was also given a specific installation date approximately six weeks out. Two weeks passed without activity or contact and I e mailed their office. I received an e mail advising that they were extremely busy and that they couldn't give us any dates for production or installation until sometime after eight weeks from now - but if we wanted to make other arrangements, they would "graciously" refund our down payment. I just got off the phone with the individual who e mailed me, who offered he comment that they were "very busy" and it was the owners decision, "I don't know what to tell you" and "this is bad for you but good for us". I expressed my opinion that this was very unprofessional and we'd like our money back - to which the reply was again, "I don't know what to tell you". No apologies or offers to correct the situation although she did say she would process our refund request.

Designed Cabinets provided the cabinets to the Builder when our home was built. Knowing that, when we decided to add cubbies to our garage entrance, install cabinets in 2 bathrooms and create a home office in another space, we contacted Designed Cabinets. A designer came out to our home and then provided drawings and pricing. We worked with the designer for several months to work out all the details. One detail was that I wanted to use a low VOC latex enamel paint on some of the cabinets in a special color. The designer consulted with their paint specialist, who agreed to do this, as long as I provided the paint. I bought the paint and delivered it to them. Before the home office cabinets were ready, the cubbies were installed. They were the wrong size and did not match the drawings that they had me sign off on before production began. They eventually replaced them at no additional charge. Shortly before all the office cabinets were to be built, and several weeks after I delivered the paint to them, the designer contacted me to say the owner had decided that I had to use their paint, or take the cabinets unpainted. Suddenly, the only paint they would use is a pigmented lacquer, which is high VOC and emits a terrible odor. After considering my options, I cancelled the entire remaining order and they returned the several thousand dollar deposit they had held for 2 months.

They took time with us to chose the woods. They made the cabinets custom which was great, because when they were finished they fit perfectly where they were supposed to go. The quality of the workmanship was very good. I do not specifically remember the cost, however whatever it was it was worth it. I will definitely use them again in the future.

They were very easy to work with. Installation was perfect. The cabinets are beautiful. A friend I worked with recommended this company to me. He said they their pricing was great and does a great job. I'm glad I went with them. I got my name on the list by putting some money down right away.. (of course, I wanted to cabinets as soon as possible). They worked with my changing ideas. By the time I decided on the cabinets, they were ready to be made and completed in two weeks.
