College Hunks

My mother passed away and we choose College Hunks to pickup up furniture, housewares, clothing because we wanted these items donated to charity. Per the College Hunks webpage, "Get rid of unwanted items and make a difference in your community when you allow College HUNKS to pick up and donate your belongings for a fee. You can count on us to handle it all with care, including labor, sorting, loading, unloading, and transportation to the donation center." When I called later to see where they donated the items, I was told they went to the landfill instead because the movers were" running behind schedule". This was so disappointing because all of these items could have ben used by someone else. Totally false advertising and no apology whatsoever for not doing what they were contracted to do. Dishonest advertising and company!
