I would give Chris an A+! My husband found him on Angie's List about 7 years ago and he rebuilt our brick garage wall. Even though he no longer does masonry work, he is an expert! He has also done a kitchen tile backsplash for a design client of mine and it looks beautiful. He pricing is more than fair because his quality, attention to detail and service are the best of any craftsman I've worked with. He treats your project like it is his own home and no one does a better job. Chris is THE BEST!!!!!

We hired Chris to remove a fiberglass shower and install ceramic tile. We received 4 estimates and Chris was the most professional and transparent. He was the only one that we felt comfortable hiring. Chris's work was perfect. We are 100% satisfied with the whole process. He was prompt with all communications and gave us professional advice when we weren't sure which product would look best and gave us honest opinions on what to expect with the different options including the price difference. Chris was great to work with. He came on time every time and was very careful to protect our existing floors, granite etc. He also kept us informed on where he was at with the project. We recommend him to do a fabulous job!

If you have the opportunity to work with Chris, I highly encourage you to do so. I cannot recommend Chris enough. Chris came to the initial meeting for a bid well-prepared. He immediately demonstrates his knowledge and how his years of experience tiling have helped him refine his craft. He is a true professional. Of all the contractors we had in our home for our bathroom remodel, I most enjoyed working with Chris. His communication is excellent, always very responsive. And he is punctual and prepared to work each day. Chris is meticulous with his work. It was always refreshing to visit with Chris during the remodel as he freely shared his thought process. He truly goes above and beyond to be sure everything is installed properly, from the Wedi board to the tile and grout. Before installing the tile, he took careful preparations for several hours and thoughtfully consulted us in the process. He is also trustworthy, so much so that we allowed him to continue working in the home while we were away on vacation. If you’re looking for a tiler, please look no further than Chris. He is a hard-working person with an exceptional work ethic who has the utmost professionalism. We have a bathroom shower space that we’re overjoyed with, and are so thankful we had the opportunity to work with Chris.

Christopher is excellent. He patiently ground out all the old grout from around the 2" tiles and replaced. It looks like new. He gets an A for all of the areas (price, quality, responsiveness, punctuality, professionalism). Would highly recommend.

He was very punctual, neat, clean and conscientious with the requested work. We were extremely pleased with the way our projects turned out and plan on having him quote some additional work.

Chris Heil again did a wonderful tiling job for us. Our porcelain tile shower and tub surround look great. He made some helpful suggestions as to how it should be done, and when some wood turned out to be rotten or moldy due to a leak in the previous shower, he fixed that. There were also complications caused by the need to have access to the tub valves and drain, and he came up with some good solutions. Chris works very hard and charges a reasonable fee. We are very happy with both the travertine kitchen backsplash he did last year and our new bathroom tile.

Chris did an excellent job and was very professional. While I did find two bullnose tiles he could use (they were bottom row tiles that were cracked), he did take a look through a tile store to see if he could find a match for the color and finish. When he removed the broken tiles, he discovered there was some support issues behind the cement board and replaced the cement board and reinforced the section of wall with some additional wood. All-in-all, Chris did a fantastic job and was a great value. I am glad I found him and plan to have him bid on future tiling jobs. We're very happy with his work and he was fairly priced.

We had an excellent experience with Chris! He installed a backsplash in our kitchen. He was very responsive throughout the process and kept us in the loop on scheduling. During installation he was very punctual, kept the work area clean, and checked in with us. The backsplash looks amazing! We will definitely use him again for future tile projects.

After having Chris install our kitchen backsplash we couldn't wait to find another project for him to do! We just completed a bathroom reno where Chris did a wonderful job taking out a bathtub surround and installed a beautiful tiled walk in shower. Christopher is wonderful to work with. We are so pleased with the attention to detail and the professionalism. Our backsplash turned out exactly as we wanted. We are so pleased with Christopher's work that we are already planning another project for him to do.

Chris came out to our house shortly after being contacted for an estimate. Provided estimates via email the same day as the visit. After we accepted his bids for the jobs, he kept us up to date on his schedule and when he would be able to start. Punctual and professional, cleaned up after his work each day. Completed all three projects (one large and two small) faster than expected and came in under budget. Quality of the work is great. We have another project in mind for later this year, and won't call anyone else. Chris will get the call. Highly recommended.

Christopher gave me an in-home estimate on Monday and was able to schedule the work to begin the following Wednesday. He was totally punctual, professional and pleasant to work with during the 2 and one half day process and came in slightly under the estimate he provided. He also offered valuable opinion on how to design the tiles to work in areas of awkward wall and cabinet angles. In additional to tumbled stone tiles I wanted to add a border of glass mosaic tile. When a dye lot mistake in the glass was found, he was willing to tear out and rework the next day and stayed right on schedule. My 30 year old kitchen looks refreshed and beautiful! My preference would have been to use a grout toned caulk rather than silicone for a more natural look with the matte stone.

It went great! He was on time for his estimate, took time to really understand the job, fit us into his schedule and did a great job. Absolutely no complaints.

Chris removed old tile and grout from the bathroom floor. He leveled sub floor. Laid new tile and grout. Chris was amazing to work with. Very professional and does beautiful detailed work. We had a hole in dry wall where the toilet plumbing comes out of the wall and Chris tiled around that to cover it and dress it up. Small details like that made my so happy! We had bought our first home and ran into some major issues and his work has brought me hope. We will use Chris again in the future and highly recommend him.

Chris was prompt in his response, arrived at agreed upon time, removed old grout and had to get matching grout. He returned, installed the grout and calked between counter top and back splash in kitchen. After curing and drying for 3 days, returned to seal the shower tile and grout. Chris was prompt, meticulous, professional, very personable with reasonable pricing. He is highly recommended. I would use again and will refer to others.

When we first met Chris he came to our house and listened to our ideas of how we wanted the fountain to look, and that i liked older looking things. The next day Chris stopped by with some brick he had seen that had an older look to it and wanted to show it to us. I loved it. It was nice because it saved us so much time in searching for a brick we would like . Chris was very dependable - kept us informed of his schedule and when he would be doing certain things - delivering the bricks, measuring, putting in the cement pad, and when he would start on the actual brick wall. He was meticulous and did an amazing beautiful job. We are very happy with our fountain, and we will be hiring Chris again this summer to use his skills to make a brick garden shed in our backyard.

Three words for Chris...Wow, Wow, Wow. I've had a lot of great experiences using Angies List, and Chris rates at the very top of my experiences. He is very responsive, professional and friendly. The reviews he has on Angies List are completely accurate. He is fantastic. I received a number of quotes, and Chris was competitive. When he came out to take a look at the job, it became obvious he is a craftsman, who cares about quality and customer satisfaction. When he did the job, he took great care not to leave a mess behind. The work was wonderful. It looks great. Now to really give you an indication of the type of character and integrity he has, Chris significantly reduced the invoice from his estimate. I did not ask him to do that. Since his work, we've asked him for a quote on another area of our house. I will definitely use Chris in the future.

Chris installed mosaic tile we had already picked out and purchased our own. He is a craftman who truly cares about the quality of the work, not simply banging out a job and collecting the check. He kept us in the loop at all times and kept the worksite neat and organized. Chris was a pleasure to have in our home and we would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. Christopher did an amazing job! I cannot recommend him enough for the job that he did in our two bathrooms and entryway. When he came in to give us an estimate, he was very thorough on what he was going to do and why. He was also the most affordable. Our projects ended up being much more difficult than we expected due to some logistical issues with our house, as well as our own indecisiveness. We ended up deciding to do a very complicated subway tile and marble tile pattern in one of our bathrooms. It looks absolutely amazing! Even though we made changes throughout the project, he was always very clear and honest about how things would look and how it would effect the cost moving forward. He was also very patient when we changed our mind. He worked very hard the entire time he was at our home. He also went above and beyond by helping us install a vanity and a light fixture in our shower. He was friendly and professional. Our toddler even loved him! I would not hesitate to recommend Chris to anyone getting any tile work done in their home.
