They were terrific. Very friendly and professional. Quality of the work was superior. We started with a two-tone painting in the kitchen, and then did the main bathroom, which was a completely new room and required some extra labor. There was a mix-up in the color which was quickly rectified. The following week they were back to paint 2 bedrooms, and the next day came back to do touch-ups after installation. Pricing was excellent and we were very pleased with how well things went. They were also very careful and thorough in their clean-up.

They did a great job and I am very pleased. I have a lot of fussy decorative trim painting on the exterior of the house, and the house looks brand new. They cleaned up after themselves, didn't wreck my flower beds, and were very friendly.

Initially we worked with Sasha who was great. He was the job supervisor for our home and answered all our questions and met our needs. Immediately following their work, there were typical mistakes that needed to be fixed. They took some time but were eventually completed. The biggest issue that we had was the clear coat bubbling and flaking off our cherry cabinets. It looked terrible. After much convincing, they agreed to remove all the doors/drawers, sand them down and refinish with a harder clear coat. It was a process to say the least. Some of the doors/drawer fronts were returned with dents. In addition, they did spot vs. full sanding which became obvious as the cherry darkened. Then the finish started chipping again. They had to re-do them again. We've had our cabinet fronts back now for a couple weeks and they look nice. We are hopeful they won't start chipping again as I'm certain we'll hire someone else to fix them. Our overall grade is based on staining, not painting.

"WE REGRET THE PROBLEMS THAT OCCURRED AT THE MEMBER'S RESIDENCE. ONCE WE WERE NOTIFIED OF THE PROBLEM BY THE BUILDER WHO WE WORK FOR WHO BUILT THE RESIDENCE WE IMMEDIATELY RESPONDED AND ATTENDED ALL THE BUILDERS MEETINGS THAT WERE REQUESTED WITH THE CLIENTS. THE DETERMINATION AFTER THESE MEETINGS WAS THAT THE PROBLEM WAS NOT DUE TO APPLICATION OF THE FINISH BUT DUE TO THE BATCH OF VARNISH THAT WAS USED FROM THE VENDORS FACTORY. THE VENDORS REPRESENTATIVE CAME OUT AND AGREED THAT THE PRODUCT SHOULD BE HOLDING BETTER TO THE WOOD, THOUGH IT WAS A SOFT CHERRY WHICH CHIPS MORE THAT SAY MAPLE OR OAK, YET IT WAS STILL CHIPPING OFF FAR TOO EASILY, AND WE AGREED. THE VENDOR PAID US TO FIX THIS WORK. ONCE THIS WAS DETERMINED WE DID TAKE ALL THE DOORS OFF AND RESPRAY THEM OVER A WEEKEND. AGAIN WE REGRET THAT THIS PROBLEM OCCURRED FOR THE MEMBER BUT FEEL THAT WE ARE MIS FAIRLY REPRESENTED DUE TO THE FACT THE IT WAS A MANUFACTURER PROBLEM, NOT AN APPLICATION PROBLEM. THIS HAS NOT HAPPENED ON ANY OF THE OTHER 450 PROJECTS THAT WE HAVE COMPLETED IN THE PAST 3 YEARS. WE FEEL WE HAVE DONE ALL THAT WE CAN TO REMEDY THIS PROBLEM FOR THE CLIENTS AND FEEL CAUGHT IN THE MIDDLE."

They did an extraordinary job. They transformed several different trims (30's oak, stained and rough; 50's blonde; vinyl-clad) into a beautiful, clean, matching look. The leaded glass windows are so beautiful now that we left the blinds off them. The stairway is now the focal point of the great room, and the stain in the study is such a good match you cannot tell the new bookcases from the old ones. The workers were polite and friendly and Seth was always reachable by phone. The team went the extra mile throughout the project. For example, we asked them to paint a small stairwell that went out a side door and they repaired and painted the rest of the stairwell to the basement while they were at it. They also removed stair railings to the upper floor and the basement and stained them to match the living room stairway. Once the rest of the work was completed they returned for touch-up work and left plenty of paint for us. I love their "Vision" statement on their website.
