Woodsmen Floors

Hire these guys! They are simply amazing! We talked to 3 other companies, they all were highly rated and our interviews went well, but Josh discussed our goals and made excellent suggestions ( pros and cons of finish options, details on a small patch) for the project. We felt confident that he would respect the our home and treat it well. The price wasn't the lowest , but we felt it was more than fair for the amount of work involved. At the end of each day, Josh sent an email detailing the status of the project . A couple of times we emailed questions and he answered within less than 10 minutes! The project took about 5 days and we knew everyday exactly where the project was. I can't even describe how happy we are with our floors! They are simply gorgeous! Josh was friendly, personable and easy to work with. It is obvious that he and his crew love what they do - transforming wood floors that have been used and abused for years back to their former glory. We would hire Woodsmen Floors again in a second!

Josh was very straightforward with upfront pricing and clear communication, e.g., options for dealing with areas that needed to be patched. While he seems like an easy-going, laid-back guy, it's obvious that he's passionate about wood floors and he and Jesse completed my job with very professional results. He kept me informed of progress along the way, and the work area was left clean. It sounds like a cliche, but he finished one day ahead of schedule and just under budget. There is no doubt that I would hire him again for anything to do with wood floors.

Josh was great to work with. I was having a hard time trying to line someone up on our tight schedule and Josh was very responsive and straight forward with his pricing and availability. After not hearing back from others I went with Woodsman Floors. Josh locked us in right away and communicated with us throughout the process. He and his team were very professional and courteous and got the work done faster than we expected. Very happy with the results and I would hire them again.

We are beyond thrilled with the beautiful wood floors Josh, Jesse, and the Woodsmen crew delivered!  It was an absolute pleasure working with them.  Not only did they swoop in last minute to finish our partially installed wood floors, they were punctual, professional, and just really cool guys.  It felt like having friends on the job.  Hire them.....like now!

Bid was given the day of request for quote.  Price reasonable.  Work began exactly the day promised and finished a half day early. Josh was responsive to all communications from me and we prompt in letting us know when they were finished. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.  A very pleasant experience working with Woodsmen Floors.

I called a total of 4 wood floor refinishing businesses and Woodsmen Floors were one of them.  I called 2 business from Angie's list, and 2 from referrals I had solicited from friends.  I left a message for all 4 businesses.  Josh promptly called me back and was able to provide me with an estimate for my project within 2 days of my phone call.   He gave me an estimate on-site and assisted me to lower the estimate by giving me some options of easy things I could do to ready the floor myself.  I appreciated this SO much, as I had a tight budget for the project.  
Initially, like all the businesses, Josh had a very full June schedule and had about a 3 week lead time for an appointment. Because no one had quick openings, I was willing to he called me as soon as he had a cancellation and was able to fit me in 2.5 weeks earlier than originally planned, which was amazing given my time frame for project completion.  
Josh and his crew were there within 10 minutes of the 7am scheduled start time and they completed the project within the timeline stated as a part of the estimate.  All three wood floor guys involved in my project were very willing to answer my questions, explain the process, and were not just professional, but genuinely nice and accommodating.  They made my floor look like maple refinished wood floor art.  It's gorgeous.   
When I am ready for another wood floor project I will be using Woodsmen Floors again and I am so happy to be their first Angie's list reviewer.  My experience was positive from start to finish; they are a company I am really happy to recommend.
