Ben and Ben fully understood the needed work.  They were able to match the roping effect of the original (hundred year old) mortar.  They did clean up adequately.  Their work was not disruptive to our daily routine.

The project went great. It was started and finished on the day's promised. It looks fabulous.

Dan and his crew were thoroughly professional at every step, from providing a range of samples of replacement bricks to problem solving about a installing a new drainage pipe, to the brick by brick design and installation.  They were very careful about protecting garden plants and shrubs adjacent to the walkways and cleaned up thoroughly after each day's work. We were very happy with the final appearance of the new walks.

It was okay.  They came shortly after I called them.  They did not charge me more than the big deal of $111.  They were very professional.

We first met on May 29 and discussed my yards shortcomings. I was told I'd be presented with a plan in "a couple of weeks". Nine weeks later I still had not heard from them. Their rep finally returned to present a plan mid-August and it was little more than photos of the stone that would be used to accomplish what we had discussed in May. I went into this thinking I'd get new ideas on what to do with the yard, not just what kind of stone is available. He was a great guy, but if I had paid the full price for this I would have been very frustrated.

_x000D_|So did I get what I paid for - a plan? Yes. Was I interested in continuing my work with this company. No _x000D_|The plan WAS pretty amazing. Just waaay over the top for the property. Not a wise use for my $100.

Ben and his crew were excellent. We spent the first few weeks working through and finalizing the patio design including choosing the type of stone to match our 1930's style tudor home. They tore out the old cement patio in three days and put in the new patio in less than a week. It was amazingly fast and right on schedule, so we were able to have a big party to celebrate my wife's 30th birthday. The quality of their work was excellent. They were easy to work with, had good communication, and really tried to be unobtrusive with our neighbors (which is important considering how close our city houses are). Overall, I would recommend their Stoneman Masonry. Well worth the money.

A basic design was provided that met our initial requirements. We have not gone forward with it yet because of the final project cost.

Explained all possible options and gave us good advice.

They built a patio for our backyard. They were very professional from start to finish and very timely. We wanted it done before Memorial day and some how they graciously fit us into there schedule. There was a landscape problem and they thought that they would have to make a sunken patio for us but I didn't think a sunken patio would be suitable for my young children so they redesign the space and came up with a much better solution with a natural stone step up. It turned out beautifully and I'm glad they were willing to work with our particular needs.

We got estimates from three masonry companies, two from Angie's List and one recommended by our neighbor. Stoneman Masonry gave the lowest bid. That, combined with solid ratings here, got them the job.
While examining the house prior to providing an estimate Ben identified which spots needed patching and described what would be done. I had dug out space from the worst spot and Ben described how they'd remove the previous patch work (now failing), fill in gaps in the block work with aggregate, if necessary, and then cover and patch that space.
Once we selected Stoneman Masonry we booked the date. We ended up having a conflict and needed to delay the work a day. The accommodated us without a problem. Next, a rainy day caused another delay but Ben communicated this clearly and explained they'd be out the following day. They were.
The bad spot (mentioned above) needed two phases to complete the work. Again, Ben communicated this clearly and explained they'd be out the following day to complete the work. They were and everything looks great!
They exceeded our expectations and we are delighted with their work. I'd recommend Ben and Stoneman Masonry to our friends, neighbors and any Angie's List member looking for high-quality work at a fair price.

Micah was great with communication, and did a stellar job matching the original stone and shape of our stairs. The outcome was done within days and turned out beautifully. We'd recommend him to anyone needing natural stonework done on their home.

Late start, job dragged on for weeks holding up new siding and new roof project. Dust all over the place. Cement spilled on paver driveway and curbs. Stone cutter and alyer was good. Grouting leaves a lot to be desired. Grouting is already coming off in one year. In the end of the project, contractor lost all interest in doing a good job.

Daniel changed the original plans and estimate to meet my requirements. The job took longer then he said but was well done.

They were the low bidder and performed a high quality and attractive repair within a week of the estimate. Very easy to work with.

Daniel did a great job. He was a real craftsman and I really got the sense that he cared as much as I did that the final look was great!

Ben was very easy to work with and very prompt with providing the estimates and then moving forward when we were ready. The wall is beautiful and looks like it will last a long time. The neighbor's driveway that had been used to access our worksite was regraded to better than previous condition. A lifetime warranty is included with repairs as needed. We would definitely hire him again.

The patio was designed by someone else and they did a wonderful job of putting it in! I am very pleased. The stones have never moved. They were on time and budget. I would highly recommend them for any stonework.

Ben responded very promptly to our inquiries and provided the bid the same day he first met with us. (another company took 6 weeks to prepare a bid!) He set a date approximately 2 weeks out from the date we told him that we wanted him to do the job and the work actually started two days ahead of his target start date. It was finished within a very acceptable amount of time despite a lot of rainy fall weather. The clean-up of all of the debris and the area around the wall was satisfactory. The wall is gorgeous! Our only regret is that our neighbors get to see it and enjoy its beauty more that we do! Stoneman's warranty is for as long as we own the house - he will repair anything that goes wrong. We don't expect to need any repairs. We're anxious to finish the landscaping next spring to accent this wonderful addition to our yard.
