I had a great experience with John. It is obvious that he is an expert in his field and the 96 page report he generated after the inspection was extremely detailed and comprehensive. I would highly recommend John if you are looking for an inspection of a commercial building that you are considering leasing or buying.

John is absolutely meticulous. This is the third house he inspected for us and I would recommend him to anyone that ask (and even those that don't). He walked through the whole house with us pointing out not only what was wrong, but how it could be remedied and even some thoughts on what could be done with the space (at our asking). He takes the time to answer every question and is great at putting the issues into terms that make sense to those less home savvy.

John Mika is the best in this business.  His reports do not leave you asking for yet more information.  They are both thorough and very well organized, with both summarized info as well as details, recommendations, estimates, and references to sources of standards he utilizes in determining criteria. He evaluated all the balconies, described problems found, included abundant photos of the various conditions observed and conveyed, then included a cost estimate to correct.  All this for each item or area gives us the essential info to size up every aspect of the work we need to complete. 

John is among individuals that conduct themselves with the highest degree of professionalism, in any business.  He is courteous, and maintains excellent communication.

He was very responsive and was out within a day.

On our third attempt to purchase a home via short sale we decided to try a new company as the prior two weren't very insightful nor punctual. We called John at Minnesota Inspections and he was able to come out on short notice. The inspectors we used before would glance through the house and seemed like they were in a hurry, but John really took his time inspecting the roof, foundation, interior, and exterior of the house. His inspection report was incredibly thorough and very professional. John was able to answer any question us first-timers could throw at him, and explain in lay-man's terms what needed to be done to remedy any problems with our house. He is a great person to work with and very knowledgeable.
