General Remodeling
FOUND THROUGH A YEAR AND A HALF PROCESS OF TALKING TO STRUCTERAL ENGINEERS QUOTED 14,000 OR LESS. WE ASKED FOR A CONTRACT. BEFORE CONTRACT SIGNED, CREW SHOWED UP, STARTED REMOVING WALL. REPLACED WALL. PROMISED TO WATERPROOF BOTH WALLS. THEY ONLY DID ONE SIDE, AND DID IT POORLY. THEY WERE TO BRACE CEILING, ALMOST LOST THE HOUSE, AND CRACKED THE SLAB. NOW THEY WONT FIX IT. THEY DIDNT USE MORTAR WHERE IT WAS NEEDED. THE CAUSE OF ALL THE ISSUES WAS A DRAIN WITH A DOWNSPOUT UNDER THE DECK. SP WAS TO FIX THE DOWNSPOUT ISSUE. THEY RIPPED UP THE DECK AND REPLACED BOARDS, BUT DIDNT REPAIR DOWNSPOUTS. THEY RAISED THE COST TO OVER 18K, AND WERE TRYING TO ASK FOR MORE!
