Terrible. They didn't know how to run the machine to re-texture the ceiling. The texture is inconsistent, there are cracks, the paint is streaky.

Worse experience I ever had. Never on time ,work was very sub standard, never came back to finish and would not come back and repair bad workmanship. Not professional at all. Have now discovered a little too late that Tony has issues with other customers and with Dept. of Labor and was penalized $7,000.
Response from T & A Restorations
"A final walk-through was completed, at which time I was given final payment. Clearly there was no problem at the time. [Member Name Removed] may want to do a little more research on the DOLI issues before stating a "fact" in a public forum - it had nothing to do with "other customers", was unfounded and there hasn't been a penalty assessed. It is impossible to make any repairs when the homeowner is completely unreasonable and uncooperative, and is only looking to get a free floor. Multiple contractors refused to return to their house to work because of their own experiences with her and her husband. The window company that they hired at the same time (and I had nothing to do with) called ME looking for their final payment a year after completion. Contractors beware."

Fast and responsive, high quality service.  Disappointed in fixed bid that wound up costing about $275 per hour.  Hope for some flexibility in patching the drywall since the job took much less time than anticipated.  My bad for agreeing to fixed bid with no range based on time spent.
Response from T & A Restorations
"[member name removed] - Sorry you were disappointed in the price. That's a pretty typical price for mold remediation, since it poses health risks and needs to be done right. Here's more info on pricing: http://www.fixr.com/costs/mold-remediation."

It looks fabulous !
Converting a popcorn ceiling to a flat ceiling is a very satisfying visual.
It can be a messy job, so it was great to have it done well,
with attention to detail, in a reasonable amount of time and for a fair price.

Tony and Rob are both a joy to work with and have performed exceptional quality and detailed work at a fair price. I would gladly use them again and recommend them highly.

Tony responded to my initial call promptly and met me at the work site within two hours. He began the demo on the floor the next day and found more hidden damage under the subfloor then initially expected. Tony explained clearly the extent of the hidden damage. He worked a very long day and finished closing the floor back up by the evening of the same day. On the following day he took a few hours and installed the vanity, substrate, and set the tile. He came back the next day to grout tile, install the vanity top, and new toilet. Tony was responsive to all my questions and finished this project in a timely manner. Although the final cost of the project exceeded the cost of the original bid due to the additional time required to repair the hidden floor damage, we were very satisfied with the final cost of the project. There were no surprises when we reconciled the final cost. His additional expenses were very fair. I was impressed with Tony?s attention to detail and  the quality of the finished project satisfied us greatly.

Tony was such a great help when we had a significant amount of water in our basement. His price was fair and straight forward. His manor is no nonsense and easy. There was plenty of communication and a desire to see the project completed to our satisfaction. He worked over the weekend putting in long days to remove carpet drywall not to mention the water. He even purchased new equipment so that he had the right tools for the job. I would recommend him to anyone for any project. One of the few contractors or services that I feel like I can "set it and forget it" he says it will take three days it will take three days I did not need to be monitoring the progress the way I did. Tony was also very open to questions about why he was doing things one way or another. All in all a great experience.

He didn't finish.  Spent several weeks trying to get him back to finish, but he kept forgetting or rescheduling.  Finally gave up and decided to have someone else do the work.  And let him keep the money we paid up front for the work, even though the work wasn't finished because it wasn't worth it to fight about it.  The work he did do was great, so it's really unfortunate he was so extremely unprofessional and non-responsive.  Would not recommend him to anyone.

"{removed member name} - Thanks for your feedback. I was in contact multiple times with your husband, and eventually did reschedule, but was told to "forget about it". Two days ago, I agreed to refund the $100 in labor charges for this job. The remaining charges were materials. I'm do apologize that this wasn't completed within your desired timeframe. Respectfully, Anthony"

Tony Nichols , owner and painter , came in over the holiday weeks and did an excellent job of finding isssues and repairing them , all part of his quote. There were no extras, he is an aggressive person who gets things done with an eye of perfection. He was more critical of  missed spot than I was. I will  definetley use him again. He also plastered holes created when an intercom was removed.

T & R Restorations did a great job.  Built the wall and added the door in a short amount of time.  They are good people with strong work ethics.  Fast, efficient, friendly.  Work was completed on time.
No hesitation with recommending or hiring them again.
