Showhome Girl was recommended to us by our real estate agent. We contacted Cindy. She was very responsive, answered all our questioned, promised to stage the house to our satisfaction, and pledged to manage the property until the closing. Based on our agent's recommendations, and Cindy's very personable appeal and strong assurances, we signed wit her. Once we signed, we never heard from her again. We had lots of issues regarding how she staged and questions regarding how to get reimbursement for utilities and other expenses she agreed to paid. After weeks of nonresponse, I threatened to break the contract if she did not respond. I then received a response (with the sort of excuses that are worthy of a high school student explaining why he did not turn in his paper to his teacher in a timely manner). We continued to have a problem from time to time. Eventually, my real estate agents ended up having to do all the things that Showhomes promised to do. I believe that our real estate agents should, in fact, get the commission. Then when we finally got the house under contract, she moved the managers from the house without informing us, and we ran into expenses that she was supposed to handle. Overall, a miserable experience. In fairness, though, her website boasts lots of awards.
Description of Work: We contracted her to stage and manage our unoccupied house.
