He consistently practiced what other agents only preach. He learned what matters most to us, and he went beyond published listings to help us rule out properties that wouldn’t meet our needs. While Ted never substituted his own preferences, aversions, and priorities for ours, he was always delightfully candid in sharing his impressions and wisdom. When we finally decided to build a home, Ted helped us find and work with the right builder. He not only advocated effectively on our behalf, he offered valuable insights and suggestions that saved us thousands of dollars and got us more of what we wanted and less of what we didn’t. One of the best things about Ted is that he’s kept on keeping on! Although our new home is already under construction, much to our surprise and delight, Ted has stayed involved. At his initiative, he attends planning meetings and reviews, makes periodic onsite visits to the construction site, and seems eager to do whatever he can to make sure that the finished product will satisfy our needs and exceed our expectations. As a businessman, Ted obviously takes the long view. He seems to focus more on the journey than on the destination. Although it took us forever to find what we wanted, Ted never ever made us feel like we were wasting his time. Entire Schatz Team is a pleasure to work with. We primarily worked with Riley Schatz and Jacob Froelich during our house search. They were always available with a positive attitude, and tirelessly showed us houses throughout the Twin Cities Metro Area. This is the second time we are buying a house, and our experience was different than our first time. They were never pushy and never forced us to close a deal, which can be common in this industry. Mike and Angela Schatz (and their entire team) were great to work with. Our neighbor had used them to sell her home so we set up some time to meet with Mike. We were impressed from the beginning and had a feeling we'd be a good fit.

Even though our initial contact was with Mike we ended up working with everyone in the office. If Mike was with another client then Angela would work with us. They always made sure our questions were answered and they made the entire process as painless as possible.

The Schatz team is awesome! They were with us every step of the way and then some. They were prompt in returning our calls, text messages and emails. 

The started us out by connecting us to an awesome and trustworthy lender who went step by step through everything that we needed to do in order to secure the loan. 

The team was excited for us and walked us through the inspection and what they felt was necessary to fix in order to get the loan approved. They kept us calm whenever we got anxious or just weren't patient enough. 

Things were able to be done electronically so that we were able to take an 8 day vacation that ended just a day before we closed and we were able to enjoy it because they had everything under control. 

They followed up with us shortly after the sale and also at the 90 day mark. Extremely caring and wonderful.

When you work with them it is best that you are prepared with everything to start with the lender, you heed their advice and you respond quickly because the housing market moves that fast.

Mike, Angela and team are AMAZING!!  They have assisted my husband and me in the purchase of 1 house, the sale of 2 different houses and when we are ready the sale of a 4th house and who knows what will come after that.  They are a down to earth, hardworking team and we have greatly enjoyed the relationship built.  They are personable and so knowledgeable in what they do.  They are in this business for the long haul and respect what you, as the consumer, are looking for.  We won't use anyone else.

The Schatz Team is on your side, whether you are buying or selling, they want you to have a positive realty experience. They celebrated our closing and have stayed in touch with us long after we moved in to our new home. Ive texted Mike who to call to fix my washing machine, and he gave me the number of a local repairman who was super nice and reasonably priced. We were referred by family, and continue to refer our family, friends, and coworkers.

We can't say enough wonderful things about this group! Each person on the Schatz team provided outstanding service. We had many concerns and questions related to being out of state when the house went on the market and was sold. They were there for each step with encouragement, support and communication.

I think the ultimate story-book ending to our experience with them has to be on the afternoon before the closing, when the buyer walked through and decided she wanted the lawn mowed prior to the closing the next day. While we had adult children living in the Mpls area, none of them were available to drop everything and get to the house to mow the lawn for us. While we were frantically thinking of who we could get to do the job on such short notice, Ted Schatz saved the day for us. He raced over to Richfield between appointments and mowed the lawn for us before nightfall! We couldn't believe our ears when he said it was done!

We have never known a team of realtors and support staff as remarkable as the Schatz team. We will be life-long fans and proponents of them and will recommend them to anyone that is buying or selling a home.

The house sold and I got close to what I was initially asking.  I am now using Schatz Realty in search of a new home representing me as the buyer. 

We worked off and on with the Schatz team over the course of 12 years.  The great majority of that time, we were just poking around the housing market just to see what was out there.  Throughout all those years, the Schatz Team never pushed us or became frustrated with us.  Rather, they stayed in touch with periodic emails, mailings and an occasional "how ya doing" phone calls.  The NEVER pushed us into anything.  They were truly on OUR side and looking out for our best interest...not just trying to make a sale.  

When a job change came about and we needed to make a move out of the area, there was no hesitation about having the Schatz's help us with the sale of our home.  We had complete confidence and faith in them that they were going to partner with us and do the absolute best to sell our house in a short period of time and at a good price....and it happened.

Schatz helped us find our dream home. We happened to be looking in an area with low turnover in a low-inventory market. We looked at over 80 houses with Schatz group over a timespan of nearly a year before we found the one that we finally purchased. During that time the team was wonderful. Mike, Angela and crew are extremely knowledgable and friendly. They made us feel like family. They also bring to bear incredible expertise during showings, negotiations, and every other part of the home-buying process. The experience of walking through a house with them is great: they can spot potential issues (and upsides) that we never would have seen on our own.

In matters relating to the purchase or sale of a house, I will never look to anyone other than Mike and his team. I purchased a town home through them and they thoroughly helped me with all the details, given that this was a first time experience for me. One of the team members provided critical insights on the faults in the home, all of which were quite invisible to me. The biggest help was with deciding the price to offer. Mike and his team know the market and their jobs so well that they helped me close the deal without paying a lot of excess money. I cannot say enough about how much genuinely they care for the customer. Even though they are sales agents by profession, I did not feel a bit of pressure in them asking me to accept a property that I did not like. I have recommended them to several other friends and who in turn have told me that they were very happy with the service.

It is also worth saying that they truly value and respect their clients like friends of the family.  They host appreciation events (picnics, bowling) for their clients and take joy in knowing their clients for the long haul.  You may not get the glitz and glamour of the big firms, but you will definitely get the care and appreciation.  I'll take that any day.

Our experience (mine and my Wife's) with the Schatz Team was very positive.  They (there are 4 there - Angela, Mike, Ted, and Katie) are all very professional, genuine folks, and 100% service-oriented with stamina possessed by few.  One of the Team is available at any time, and he/she will do everything in their power to get you a showing, answer your questions, and move your deal to the next step.  If you're buying or selling a home, these folks are well worth checking out!
