The color experience was a disaster. The girl told me that she was a colorist instructor. However, everything she said to me was full of inexperience and and was not honest. I was told that I would have to continuously color the hair over and over to get it white. The tone was left yellow-gold. I explained in detail that the tone of gold or yellow was hazardous to my skin tone. We scoured dozens of photos on her tablet and nothing she did was remotely close. I have had my hair done many, many times in many years. I have heard this tall tale many times. It is a complete falsehood that is implemented to keep you coming back to pay astronomic prices for poor color. The young lady seemed to believe that since she was an instructor it gave her the license to neither listen to me or believe what I knew myself about my own hair. The condition of my hair is in destroyed. They had me PAY for the condition treatment or Keratin treatment. Which I feel that since she had to do my hair a second time in one week should have paid for herself.
I was mortified. disgusted. and would NEVER tell anyone to go to this salon. Since either the manager or anyone in charge would say anything to this 'instructor' about her poor service she gave me.
She and the Management did not listen to me. They didn't care. And they seemed to want to get past he discussion instead of attacking the issue head on and fixing the situation.
DON'T GO TO THIS SALON!!

I like New Reflections Salon's stylist and customer service. Their stylist are really updated on the latest trends, make suggestions and friendly.

I was happy with the professional atmosphere. I knew they wanted to make me happy, and it was good to know they deal with brides regularly. The natural curl, not over done, but a little done up look was what we wanted and what we want. I requested to use a wooden hair piece, so wanted the consultation ahead of time. This helped get the hair dresser on board with the idea, and gave her the idea to sew it in my hair with fishing line (instead of using the wooden pin that slid through it). This was a great idea, and exactly why I went to them.
The haircuts they give are of the same salon natural beauty style. This isn't always what I want, but when I do I'd go back here for hair.
The makeup person did a good and average job. I was glad I had the consultation, and the final look was similar. I just am not sure that I couldn't have done it on my own (after learning from the consultation.) All in all, it was nice to have the service offered so I didn't have to stress about it on the big day. But doing it again, I would have gone for the tips, but just recreated after I practiced myself.

What a great experience! This is the best salon I've found since moving to Minnesota. My stylist, Monique, suggested a wonderful hairstyle that is great. I will definitely be a repeat customer.
