Short review - they were awesome. Huge selection at their store and knowledgeable personnel to answer all your questions.  Quality product, nicely installed.  Would use them again.

They were awesome and the installment was beautiful.

I'm very happy with the carpet and flooring.  There was an unavoidable delay in getting my living room and dining room carpeting installed, because the carpet color and style I originally selected was on back order.  However, the salesman, Mark, was very helpful, and I selected another color and style, which he sold to me for the same price.  In fact, I am very happy with the alternate color and style.  Mark kept me up-to-date all the way, with phone calls and emails.  I would recommend Hopkins Carpet One to anyone looking for flooring and carpeting.

Ann worked with us to find the carpet that met our needs in terms of appearance, value and cost. She supervised installation and made adjustments when we requested them. She stayed in touch throughout, and everything was done on time.

They were friendly and their estimate was not that high.

I was very happy with them. It’s a small company. It’s been around for a long time. The guy at the store told me that they’ve been here for fifty years. It’s like a second generation of family business I guess. They are very good. The guy who installed it for us is an independent contractor. I have no idea what his name is, but he does excellent work. We’ve been very pleased with their carpets. When I call them to come at a particular time, they are there at that time. That’s how good they are. They are very co-operative and very approachable. You’re not dealing with just any store. I went in and I think the lady that was there, is the daughter of the guy who started the company; and there was one other clerk as well. There were only two people in the store. We went in and picked up these samples. When you call up, you get her. It’s a small family run company, and not everybody that works there is family. This installer that they use is just unbelievably good. He did a stairway for us and he did the carpeting down here. It was just gorgeous. We were very pleased. My wife and I like the kind of business where you deal with people who enquire about you. We had a bunch of water damage and gutter problems and we’ve had them fix it for us. The cats dirty our rugs and it smells. When the carpet gets wet, it stinks up the whole house. My wife and daughters said we have got to get rid of the carpets out of there, which we did. So they came and put this carpet down, the one in the basement. When we wanted to do the whole remainder of the basement, the old carpet was beginning to really fray and trip over the joints. My wife said that we needed to go back to carpet city. They were great and their work was so good. So we had two different jobs. I don’t know how much we spent on the first one, but the second one was a little higher. I would use their services again in the future.

They were excellent. When I contacted them and advised the job, they came over, quoted the job and showed me samples. They then commenced the job and completed in 6 hours. They were fabulous. The furniture was moved by them. After the job they cleaned the place and replaced he furniture. They were punctual and the job was done as contracted. I liked their services a lot and will continue to use them in future.

Hopkins Tile and Carpet (dba Carpet City - Hopkins) was recommended to me by a business acquaintance. Lori and Bev were very knowledgable and spent the time necessary to help me select a number of samples to try in my home. After I selected one, the order was placed and installation scheduled about two weeks out. Dan and Don were the installers and did a terrific job. They removed the old carpet and pad, cleaned up a lot of debris that the original carpet had been installed over when the house was built, and nailed down some squeaks in the floor. They were punctual and very professional and did a much better job in the doorway transitions than had been done before. Overall, this was an excellent experience.

I can't remember how much it cost as my husband took care of that, but I would say they are very reasonable. This company bends over backwards for you. I have used them before and will use them again. The staff is helpful. It is mainly women in the sales part and they work with you because they know what carpet goes through in different areas of the house and they make suggestions to what will work the best or what won't work. They know their products and aren't just trying to sell you one certain type of carpet.

THE PROJECT WAS POORLY MANAGED AND COMMUNICATION WITH US ON PROGRESS AND PLANS FOR SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION WERE TERSE AND BOARDING ON RUDE. THE TWO DAY PROJECT TOOK FIVE TO COMPLETE AND REQUIRED THE EFFORTS OF TWO SEPARATE TILE LAYERS AS THE FIRST JUST DIDN'T SHOW UP AFTER THE SECOND DAY.

PRICES IS DONE DIFFERENTLY THAN THE CHAINS: I.E. TAXES ITEMIZED. GREAT SELECTION OF LARGE REMNANTS - WHICH IS HOW YOU CAN REALLY SAVE ON THE PRICE OF CARPETING.
