We have been seeing Dr. Bloom at Hopkins Pet Hospital for almost 10 years, 3 different dogs. Including 2 knee surgeries, wart removal, treating an auto-immune disease, allergies, ear infections, lump checks, check-ups and vaccines. They are all very friendly, practical, and reasonably priced. I can call any time with questions and can get in any time.
We recently had to go see a vet that specialized in dental work, and it was a night and day difference. The DDS was much more intense, expensive, and I felt pressured to go further with treatment than was necessary. That experience made me appreciate Hopkins Pet Hospital even more.

Everything was wonderful. They are a caring staff and friendly doctors. I would highly recommend them.

My family have been taking our pets to Dr Spong at Hopkins Pet Hospital since 1969. Dr Spong has a way of making every client feel as if they have the BEST dog or cat in the world.He's been in the business for a very long time and his experience shows. He also keeps up with what's new in vet medicine. He is great about offering options and does not immediately recommend the most expensive treatment or surgery to try to make more money. I TRUST his advice and that is huge when it comes to your vet. You wouldn't want anyone else to be with you when you have to make the decision to put your pet down. The techs are also good, especially Gwen. Yes, it is an old building and could use a face lift but as long as Dr Spong continues to practice, I won't go anywhere else.

I've used this clinic for my dogs and cats for a number of years. I like Dr.Spong's manner with the animals -- quiet, observant, kind. The techs are all sharp and they seem to communicate well with each other. I've gotten good advice from the techs as well as Dr.Spong. They get backed-up on Saturday's and busy Spring months, as most vet offices do.

They were incredibly punctual and they made it less expensive to get the shots because they had a vet tech do it instead of paying for a full Veterinarian visit. The facility was really old and not at all clean, but the people were professional, prompt, and it was affordable.

I have mixed feelings about this pet hospital. Have gone several times over the years and seen Dr. Spong - who was great. Then had emergency health issues with my cat and Dr. Bloom was assiged. After many visits, we still did not get answers as to what the problem was. Had to ask many questions due to lack of information provided. She is kind with animals but does not seem to provide thorough exams/care. Every time I left office, I felt confused and frusterated and had to come back many times because treatments were not working. In the end, I lost my poor young cat and felt like the health care provided could have been been better and more responsive. Communication was definitely lacking. I am heading to Shady Oak Pet Hospital the next time I am in need of care for my pet.

We spent around $60 or $70 on that service. We continue using them because they are very thorough and they know our pets well. They take good care of them and do a good job. The clinic is clean and professional and they have a courteous staff.

I spent $300 on that service. They are knowledgeable and are the best in our area.

Everything about them is nice, except for their price. The staff is wonderful. They are very good when it comes to making an appointment. I will definitely take my pet back to them in the future.

They are very thorough and very reliable. They have a vast knowledge of animals, and they know particularly well about dogs and the different breeds. The doctor in there cares a lot about the animals he treats. The office is very clean and comfortable. The waiting area is free as well. The staff is good.

We've been going to this pet hospital for 20 years. Our experience with this clinic has been great. The employees are so caring. When you get there everyone comes out to get on their knees and talk to your dog. It doesn't get much better than that. They're so personable.

I have been very happy with this vet clinic over the last 20 years. They are very reliable and they now have convenient Saturday morning hours. They have seen several of my pets and I have had experiences where they have been very compassionate and understanding.

It took 4 people to hold down the cat, which is totally understandable. I wouldn't want anyone in that area with a scissors or clippers either! I know they were gentle, and it took less than 5 minutes to do. My cat was very happy to be done, yet it will need to go back again in about 6 months.
