They asked me to wait while they checked out the power converter on my 12 V lamp because in their experience that was often a source of trouble. It turned out to be faulty. They had a replacement in stock and it fixed the problem. I was in and out in 10 minutes max.

 + -1 moreI TOOK A HALOGEN LAMP IN FOR REPAIR. I WAS GIVEN AN IDEA OF WHAT MIGHT BE WRONG, AN ESTIMATE OF THE PRICE, AND AN ESTIMATE OF HOW LONG IT WOULD TAKE TO REPAIR. IT DID TAKE SOME TIME FOR THEM TO GET BACK TO ME. THE PROBLEM WAS FIXED, ALTHOUGH IT WASN'T THE PROBLEM THAT THEY ORIGINALLY THOUGHT. MY LAMP IS NOW WORKING PERFECTLY!

 + -1 moreTHIS SPECIALTY SHOP WAS VERY EASY TO WORK WITH. WE FAXED A COPY OF THE PICTURE OF OUR FIXTURE BEFORE BUYING IT TO SEE IF THEY COULD DO THE ALTERATIONS. THEY SAID THEY COULD AND COMPLETED THE JOB WITHIN A COUPLE OF DAYS OF US DROPPING THE FIXTURE OFF. IT'S HARD TO FIND SHOPS THAT WILL STILL DO SPECIALTY WORK, AND THIS IS ONE WE'LL USE AGAIN IF WE NEED IT. WE CAN ALSO FIND THOSE HARD-TO-FIND BULBS AND FIXTURES HERE AS WELL.
