 + 3 moreTom provided a competitive bid for the project, not the lowest, but other estimates seemed lower quality in some areas. The work did not begin as soon as promised, but moved quickly once started. The company was not the best at communicating what was planned. The garage turned out well, and we have identified very few problems. The garage door started binding a few months after completion and Tom asked us to contact the subcontractor directly. They repaired it right away. The concrete apron has developed a crack, but Tom looked at it and said it was not repairable. We were happy enough with Durabilt to hire them for additional work, with less satisfactory results. They should stick to garages, they do a decent job. I would not hire them for siding or window replacement again.
Description of Work: Construction of new two stall garage including tear down of old garage, new concrete slab, framing, roofing, and siding.

 + 0 moreI TOOK VACATION TIME FROM WORK TO MEET WITH THIS COMPANY. I THINK IT IS EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL NOT TO PROVIDE A QUOTE THAT WAS PROMISED AFTER SOMEONE TAKES THE TIME TO MEET WITH THEM.
Description of Work: I MET WITH THE OWNER FOR A BID ON BUILDING A 4 SEASON PORCH WITH A DECK AND POSSIBLY FINISHING OFF OUR UPSTAIRS. HE SAID HE WOULD HAVE OUR BID TO US BY THE END OF THE NEXT WEEK. WE NEVER HEARD FROM HIM AGAIN.

 + 0 moreTHEY WERE VERY FLEXIBLE AND WENT WELL BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY. THE OWNER ALWAYS ANSWERED HIS CELL PHONE EVERY TIME I CALLED. IF I HAD CONCERNS THEY WERE WILLING TO CORRECT IT RIGHT AWAY. EXCELLENT COORDINATION. HE HAS A GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR TOO.
Description of Work: ADDED FOUR SEASON ROOM AND EXTENDED MY KITCHEN.
