They were professional. They gave me a quote, They checked it and said that they could not do it. They didnt charged me for coming out. They came within their window time.

Mike and Mike showed up on time. We went over what items around the house needed to be taken away and then based on how much room the items would take in the truck, Mike gave me the estimate of $377.61. They proceeded to move heavy and light items quickly into the truck. I have used this company before and is always pleased with the whole transaction. The staff works hard but also, are fun to work with.

Excellent!  Two very nice young men arrived and when we told them our driveway had been seal-coated in the last few days they parked the truck in the street to be sure not to damage it and brought dollies to haul stuff from our garage and attic down to their truck.  We had lots of very heavy stone, granite and tile, plus building materials, carpet, boxes of paperwork, a crib, old snowblower, empty paint cans and various junk that they cheerfully carted and hauled away.  They worked quickly and were very professional and accommodating.  Total cost $270 less a $25 online coupon we had.  My husband said, "Some of the best money we've spent lately - well worth it!  Would definitely use again!

Great experience.  They arrived on time and kept us updated on their approximate arrival time.  They did a quick walk through on the stuff we wanted them to take.  They informed us that they will recycle and/or donate whatever they could.  They took an extremely heavy cement filled pole.  Hard work for a 90 degree day.  They took many other things for a reasonable price based on volume.  I would use them again fro sure.

An all-around seamless and very positive experience dealing with this company. Appointment was set-up within 48hours of my call to them. Haulers arrived at the agreed-upon time, were courteous and professional, and provided an estimate of the cost prior to removing the desired items. The team worked with no required oversight or follow-up from me. They clearly communicated the surcharge accompanying removal of the box spring and even swept clean the garage area after removal of the items. Payment was processed by the haulers on site after completion of their work, and a detailed invoice was provided summarizing the charges.
I would recommend 1-800-GOT-JUNK to others in the area, and will certainly request their services again in the future, should I be in need of additional hauling/removal

Really pleased and have told a lot of people about this great service. You really need a lot of stuff to make it worthwhile for the cost. I had numerous items that were too big and bulky for me to get out of my basement plus I had no way to get rid of them. I called the 1-800 number to schedule and a very nice woman gave me all the details about cost and dimensions so I was forwarned about what I might be paying. The 2 person crew arrived during the agreed upon time window and it was as easy as pointing to all the things I wanted gone and they took them out the basement door and staged them in the back yard. Then they took all the stuff up the hill and loaded onto the truck. How much space it took in the truck was what determined the final cost. Once they had it all loaded, they gave me the price and I gave them the coupon to deduct to get final total. I know it seems pricey but I feel that it was worth it as they come to your door, remove the junk/stuff, load it, and dispose of it. I will use them again if I have enough to make it worthwhile. It is a lot easier than having an ugly dumpster in your driveway and you have to move everything into it yourself.

I booked this 48 hours in advance. I received a phone call the evening before, alerting me that I would be contacted between 7:30 and 8:00 am the next morning. Tony(?) called at 7:45am, and said they'd arrive around 8:45am - which they did,

I had several large items I needed hauled away from both my basement and my garage. Tony and Tim quoted me a rate that my junk actually ended up exceeding, but they did not increase their quote. In addition, there had been a misunderstanding on the surcharge associated with the cost of the piano, and Tony was very gracious and adjusted the total cost for us so it wouldn't be a pain point. They were fast, courteous and very professional. I will definitely be calling them again.

Removed a large, heavy Sony Trinitrom TV from my house.

It was easy to set up the appointment. Then the day of they called to further confirm what time within the appointment window to expect them. Looked over what needed to be taken and provided immediate estimate. Easy payment with credit card. Very professional.

They called in advance and arrived promptly. When the crew arrived they gave us a reasonable price and got to work. They worked quickly and cleaned up afterwards. The crew was very friendly and accomodating.

The truck with two men arrived on time and in no time had loaded the unwanted items into their truck. They were kind enough to load the leftover snowblower into our van for us. They were friendly and professional and recommend them to anyone who needs their services.

Overall it went very well.
Set up an appointment on-line, received confirmation. The day of I received a call about 45 minutes prior to my scheduled time(which was a 2 hour window) stating that they'd be there around 1:30 but another crew may call me to see about coming out earlier than that. A number was left on my voicemail so I could call them back if I wanted to. I did receive another call about an hour after that from a crew that was able to get there at 12:30. They were right on time and the whole exchange took about 5-7 minutes.
I was disappointed that I wasn't able to use the coupon that is attached. I was told there's a minimum charge of $99 and the coupon couldn't be used on min charges. If I would have had a lot more stuff to get rid of then I could have used the coupon but I was only being charged $99(min charge).
However they did give me $10 off so that was nice but $25 would have been better. I started to tell them nevermind only because I didn't recall seeing anything on their website about a $99 minimum charge, nor did the woman I spoke with the day before state anything about that. My husband and I didn't think our stuff was $99 worth but we had no other way of getting rid of it.
With money aside, we are very happy that we contacted this company, they were pleasant on the phone and in person, respectful, and efficient. We'll contact them again if we can match our Junk for their cost.

They were quick and efficient and easy to schedule. No suprises with the final bill. They were good to work with and I would do it again.

I expected I had one truckload and so expected to pay the truckload price quoted on the website. We immediately realized I had way more. In the end, it was two loads--double the price. Through it all, the 3 young strong men (Mike, Adam and Chris) who did the hauling were cheerful, kind, amusing and totally professional. They took one full truck away and were back 40 minutes later with an empty one. The conditions in the damp basement room with the cardboard boxes were deplorable and they dealt with it like troopers. They were so helpful I wish I could have kept them for a month or so to help with my move. Overall, it was a great experience and one I highly recommend to other 65 year old women with bad backs faced with cleaning out the basement.

They service is kind of pricey. If needed, we would call them again in the future.

I went online and reserved a time for them to come out and do an estimate. This process was very easy, and I got a 2-hour time-window of the very next morning. They said they would call 15-30 minutes ahead. My window was 9-11, but they called about 8:15 and asked if it was OK to be a bit earlier. It was fine with me, and the two young men arrived about 8:40.

The garage was a terrible mess. We had empty boxes, some pipes, miscellaneous and quot;stuff,and quot; and two piles where paper to be recycled had gotten wet when the garage flooded and was a big paper-mache lump. It was a MESS. They gave me a range of prices, which would depend on exactly how much room in the truck the stuff took. (They charge by volume, not by time or disgustingness of the work!)

Ken and Adam were polite, friendly, and VERY efficient. They took (as I recall) less than two hours to clean out a mess that had been accumulating for years. They made a very tidy arrangement of the things we were keeping and swept the floor thoroughly. I was AMAZED when I saw the garage.

I booked the appointment on line which was very easy. Plus, I was able to get an appointment for the next day at a time that worked for me.

On the day of the appointment, they called ahead of time to let us know when they would arrive. When they arrived, they took a look at the junk and gave an estimate. After I accepted the estimate, they hauled the loveseat out of the basement which was not an easy task. Then, they took all of the junk in the garage. The garage hasn't looked this good in years! The actual cost was the same as the estimate and I was able to apply a coupon from Angie's list.

I would definitely use this service in the future. It was quick, easy, and affordable.

Mike C. and Adam were extremely polite and very careful while moving things. They were on time -- called 30 minutes ahead -- and did a great job. They quote you a range of prices depending on how full the truck will be (it is a small truck) and then ended up giving me the lower end of the price range -- good strategy, guys. Then they swept my garage for me and offered to move anything else heavy in the house free of charge. They left me with a coupon for next time. Leave your customers with more than they expect -- that's the way to run a business!

I received a coupon in the mail for 1-800-got-junk, checked their website and figured the amount of junk I had would cost about $300 based on the web info. Called to make sure they would also take the ceramic tile. Was told the weight of the tile might add some additional cost. The people who picked up were early. My father met them because I had to work. They said the tile would cost more but didn't give an exact estimate. Since it was only from a 150 sq ft kitchen my father didn't think it would be much more. Well, the price to haul just the tile was $299 and the price for the remaining junk (subfloor, linoleum) was $293. My father paid since they'd already loaded the junk. I called the franchise owner to complain about the price to haul the tile. The franchise owner was polite but he never once returned my calls when he said he would, I always had to keep calling him. Eventually he offered to credit me $299 towards another junk hauling from 1-800-got-junk. I said since I had no more junk to haul, therefore this was of no value to me. I wanted the credit toward my credit card. He refused to credit my card. The service was prompt and they cleaned up the junk but BE VERY CAUTIOUS OF THE PRICE if you use this company. I have since been told by 2 flooring installers that the price I paid to have the tile hauled was very high. I will not recommend 1-800-got-junk to anyone because of the price.

I went to 1800gotjunk.com and was able to easily schedule a next-day appointment. The crew called about 1/2 hour before the scheduled time and offered an earlier pickup time if it was convenient for me, which was nice. The junk I needed hauling was in my garage. Major items included 1) a green Bagster bag overflowing with cardboard, part of a window well, carpet and other non-hazardous junk 2) two broken vacuum cleaners 3) a couple TV/computer monitors 4) about 7 large black plastic bags of construction waste 5) an old office chair 6) a pile of scrap wood. With the $10 surcharge per monitor the total came to just under $500. The guys were very courteous and easy to work with. I simply told them what I needed hauled, walked back in my house and they rang my doorbell when the job was done. They swept up the garage floor before they left which was an unexpected bonus. Perfect service.

I went to the 1800gotjunk website to see if they would take all our junk, including electronics and flourescent tubes. The website indicated they would and that price was dictated by volume. So I booked an appointment online for 9:30-11:30 pickup time. The service did call to confirm the appointment. The morning of, I receive a call saying they are coming at 9:00 - way earlier than expected. I told them I needed until at least 9:15 to finish getting my kids to school (that's why I booked 9:30 in the first place). They arrived at 9:10. The two men driving the truck were very nice and friendly. They then informed me that most of the items I wanted taken were subject to surcharges! This information was not on the website under "What We Take." It was going to cost me over $100 in surcharges on top of the load charges! And then they said they couldn't take the flourescent tubes, although that is listed under "What We Recycle, Universal Waste" on the website. Well, I was not happy. I told them only to take the junk that wasn't subject to surcharges, which was only about half of what I had put out. The men did quickly and efficiently load the junk they did take, and they gave me a break on the load price since the volume was much lower than expected and because I was misled by the website in terms of what would be taken for what prices. Bottom line: I have no complaints at all about the men who took my junk - they did their job well, and treated me well, all things considered. I have big complaints about the company in general, and specifically the information that is and is not on the website with regards to what they take and what they charge. I booked with them because I thought they could meet all my needs and they could not; therefore, it's unlikely I'll use them again.
