Packing was totally inadequate as was labeling of packages. For instance, boxes of antique china that were packed by ASAP were not even marked "Fragile", and and antique Victrola was shipped upside down, the "This Side Up" sticker pointed to the feet. SEVERE damage to several boxes and the Victrola. I purchased additional "insurance" on many of the packages, shipping companies in filing claim damage, only to be told the "shipper" was ASAP and the damage claim would go through that business. ASAP received the payments for damages and reimbursed shipping cost. I filed charges in conciliation court, was awarded a judgment against ASAP in January 2008, 7 months after this occurred. I have still not received any money from ASAP. The county sheriff was also unable to collect from this company.
