Chris was on time for the estimate meeting, he did the work promptly and beautifully. My floors look gorgeous! He also went above and beyond when once the job was finished, I decided to move an installed cabinet. He supplied me with the stain and sealer - free of charge - to patch the small part of my floor that I still need to do myself because of the moved cabinet. He would certainly come back and finish it for me if I wanted to pay for that, but with his good advise, I'm going to give it a try!
We did have discussion about the finishing piece that went between my two room floors - kitchen (new linoleum) and dining room (refinished hardwood) - and it took me awhile to realize it was my responsibility to pick that out and have it installed, so if you want them to install that metal piece (or whatever you decide to transition the floor) you should buy that and have that on-site for them to install.
Did I say my floors look gorgeous? They are better than brand-new floors - patina, shine, and beauty. And his price was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend him.
