Everything went smoothly. I talked with them while they were working and they were friendly and helpful. In addition to figuring out some surprising criss-crossing of power cables, they located some long dead cable tv wires so we weren't surprised when they showed up during the fence post digging.

I was able to schedule a visit using the toll free number on very short notice. Bob arrived with an assistant and I showed him what was needed. He proceeded to locate all electrical and gas lines in the back yard. He was troubled by the fact that there were three electrical conduits coming from the house and he had only found two lines. He took an extra 20 minutes just to figure out why (two lines were traveling together). He took great care to clearly mark everything.

A few days later we asked him to return because we had a TV cable partially visible in the back yard and wanted to fully locate it as well. He drove over between jobs and not only found all of it, but also traced down an electrical line that Gopher One failed to find. To top it all off, he didn't charge anything for this additional visit.

I used Private Underground a few years ago, and I remember that Bob performed the service then, too. He was just as friendly and detail oriented. Definitely recommended!!

Two workers arrived on time and were very personable and knowlegable. They traced both electrical and natural gas lines from our house to our pool equipment so we could have yard work done without damaging the lines. The work proceeded very quickly, and the workers both flagged and painted the locations of the lines. They were able to pinpoint location and depth of the lines, even under our concrete pool deck. The experience was excellent, and I would definitely use them again.

I was very pleased. The response was quick, I called on a Wednesday to inquire about the job; Robert offered to do the job Thursday but that didn't work for me, so we did it on Friday. He was a few minutes late, not too surprising when driving from Hastings to Ramsey, but very efficient and courteous. He marked everything I asked him to for one reasonable price, with special attention to corners where the runs changed directions.
