About us

Worked for Sears and Mr. Appliance and decided to start my own business. Went to Dunwoody for Appliance training and have over 26 years of electrical repair experience. Retired Navy vet. I give Veterans or Senior Citizens 10% off repair but not service call charge. I charge $75 for service call and that covers the first hour. $60 every hour after that. Christian owned and operated. Also accepts cash and money order.

Service stoves, and washers. Do some refrigerator work but no sealed system work. Carry limited parts and if parts are needed I order them from local suppliers., cooktops, dishwashers, dryers, ovens

Never did get the dryer working after 4 times of being here. Never on time. Said he would come on Saturday to fix it and then did nothing but complain about it, finally told him that was it and that we would get someone else

Jim's Appliance Repair was very punctual and courteous. Our dryer had simply stopped tumbling. even though the timer appeared to be working. Jim was able to diagnose the problem and order the part that day. When the part arrived he called to set up a return visit and went over and above, including cleaning out several years of lint build up within the dryer casing. He did not want to leave us with a potentially hazardous situation. I will call Jim's Appliance Repair every time I need help with a large appliance.
