The tear down went real well. Done in a couple of days. The tile we bought was sandstone and created a slow (4 week) replacement process. Outcome was fantastic, but we did not expect the length of time the bathroom would be down (start to finish about 5 weeks). Tile installation was extremly well done and of high quality. Zero entry shower was a life saver for a couple in mid life and was something the contractor had not done before but accomplished very well (we are very happy with it. The technition that completed the work (Mike) was extremly friendly and even took our Pappilion out to relieve himself (just like the Angie's list commercial with the plumber). Over it went well and we are very pleased. Highly recommend the type of shower we installed to anyone getting up in years (get rid if the tub, who needs it!). The only downer is the contractor is very conservitive on allowances. We doubled them rather easily.
