They did a great job. The space around our furnace was limited in a small upper level utility room. We had actually been told by others that it would be difficult if not impossible to have the unit installed. The folks at West Air apparently could do a little bit of outside the box thinking and were able to install it no problem like the pros they are! We had contact with various individuals via phone, email, and of course the installers. All of whom were responsive, knowledgeable and very friendly.

I used this company in the spring 2013 to replace a blower motor for the air conditioner and then because I was satisfied this fall to clean and tune up the furnance.
The tech in both cases was very polite and informative. The work was done very well and the price seemed fair.

The owner of the company had indicated that he would be working with York to get this lemon issue resolved. He has not contacted me at all. I have used them exclusively for maintenance and service. I would like the courtesy of a reply as I consider this a serious issue. Since building my house over 5 years ago I have been without heat on two occasions and have had numerous repair and replacement visits. All I am asking for is followup to a prior conversation. I do like working with this company for a variety of maintenence issues, however. Since they are an exclusive York company I will have to think long and hard before I buy another York system. The ratings for York are about as good as for any furnace but I think I deserve a reply from Westair if they want to make me a lifelong customer. I would grade the overall experience as a B but the system will not let me. That is due to the equipment and lack of response. They get an A for the other areas.

Westair originally installed my furnace 15 years ago and a few years ago
I called them when we had start up issues. That time, they were very
busy and talked me through trouble shooting and fixing the furnace on my
own with out an expensive service call. This time I called them for a
tune up and to fix my gas fireplace. The service was good, punctual and
priced very reasonable. My only issue was I asked for a quote on new AC
and Furnace prior to the new laws coming out in 2013. Their office
contacted me 10 days later informing me that they could not find my
credit card information (they would have the tech look in his truck
again), and that someone was working on a quote for me. As of today (3
weeks later) I have no quote... at least not from Westair.

West Air scheduled my non-critical service appointment within one week of my call. The repair technician was running about a half hour late, but he called in advance to warn me. The technician inspected and cleaned my furnace and identified a part that was defective and covered by warranty. He replaced the part and gave my furnace a clean bill of health. He also inspected my defective air-to-air exchanger. He concluded that the motor was defective and offered to repair and replace it on another service call for an additional charge. I chose to repair the motor myself after he offered helpful advice. The technician ended up charging me 15% more than I was quoted on the telephone for the amount of time the services took, but overall I was satisfied with my experience with West Air and would use them again.
