Trees by Forrest

So far disease free and very health - after 6 years.

Took many trees down. Regraded a portion of the yard and laid drain tiling around the garage.  Very hard worker!  Everything went well.  Really nice guy.  Sometimes hard to pin down time wise.

Very pleasant to deal with, excellent work, cleaned up completely. Came out initially on the weekend. Offered free advice on tree care for other trees as well.

He is an excellent tree surgeon, and really knows trees and how to trim them.  He used to be my one and only tree trimmer and when he showed up, he did great work.  The only problem was that at least once, he somehow forgot to call me, or show up to work on some trees.  It was so long ago, I have now forgotten what the exact issue was, but I gave up on him.  He is a very nice, honest, educated tree surgeon.

The price quoted was less than anyone else.  But after saying that - the job was completed as bid, no surprises.  I was most impressed that all the debris from the tree was removed, down to the last branches.  They were also very careul not to disturn landscaping that was in place.

They brought in the appropriate equipment for tree removal.  They were careful not to damage any of the other trees and vegetation close by.  All branches, twigs, etc were removed and the area was left as tidy as it had been before the work was done.

They are very good about being safety conscious. We were not always sure if they were coming or not. They were a little late with keeping in contact with us, but did a good job when they finally came. I would not use them again because of the lack of punctuality.

Forrest and his crew did an excellent job trimming/dead-wooding several trees in our front and back yard. His guys use ropes (not spiked shoes) so as not to damage the trees. My wife and I were very satisfied with his work and the many suggestions he offered regarding treatment of our large variety of trees in the future. His prices were very reasonable relatively to 3-4 other bids we received. Forrest is an honest individual that truly cares about his work and the customers he serves. We will definately use his services in the future and highly recommend him to anyone looking for high quality, honest work at a reasonable price.

We had Forrest deliver a face cord of wood and also give us a bid for tree work that needs to be done on the property. He is very knowledgeable about what to prune, what needs to be removed because of over crowding, and suggested plantings of bushes and trees that would work better in the space because of the amount of shading and for privacy. We will probably have the tree work done in the spring.

Tree trimming service: delayed, rescheduled, arrived late, left early. Tree trimming results: dead branches remained, limbs overhanging neighbors, large empty area in one tree. Power company tree trimmers came through our neighborhood shortly after this service, causing two trees to be very lopsided. Shrub stumps removal: had to ask several times for them to return and finish job. Recommended fertilization: never happened.

They brought in a crane and went from the back of the home over the front and took it out. He was a great guy and very easy to work with. He was very cordial and cleaned up very well.

We had a bad storm and some trees in our back yard had fallen. It was a danger for us to even go in the back yard so we called Trees by Forrest to come out and remove the fallen trees. It took them about three hours and they did a wonderful job.

They have great quality and service and are professional.

I USE TREES BY FORREST EACH SPRING AND FALL TO PRUNE AND FERTILIZE TREES AND SHRUBS. ALWAYS DOES AN EXCELLENT JOB AND MANAGES TO FINISH WORK IN ONE DAY WITH A TEAM OF 2-3 USUALLY. FORREST CHECKS FIRST TO SEE WHAT SPECIAL NEEDS THERE ARE EACH TIME WE MEET, AND HAS ALWAYS BEEN WILLING TO DO THE LITTLE EXTRA THINGS AS WELL. AS A RESULT OF HIS WORK OVER THE YEARS, MY LANDSCAPING IS KEPT HEALTHY AND WITHIN THE PROPER SIZE EVEN THOUGH SOME SHRUBS ARE GETTING PRETTY OLD!

I FOUND THE COMPANY TO BE VERY RESPONSIVE TO MY CALL. THE OWNER CALLED ME BACK FAIRLY QUICKLY EVEN THOUGH HE WAS OUT RESPONDING TO OTHER HOMEOWNERS WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. HE CAME TO THE HOUSE WITHIN THE TIME STATED AND REMOVED BOTH TREES ON THE SAME TRIP. THE TREE AGAINST THE HOUSE COST MORE TO REMOVE BECAUSE SPECIAL EQUIPMENT WAS NEEDED. I DON'T HAVE ANY OTHER QUOTES TO COMPARE FOR THE PRICE WHICH IS WHY I CHOSE 'B'. I HAD CALLED SEVERAL OTHER COMPANIES FIRST BUT THEY WERE TOO BUSY TO EVEN TALK TO ME. I APPRECIATED FORREST'S TIMELY RESPONSE AND HELPFUL INFORMATION.

THEY DELIVERED WITHIN A WEEK OF TAKING THE ORDER AND THE FIREWOOD BURNS GREAT.

RETURNING PHONE CALL, COMING OUT FOR SERVICE & SENDING THE BILL WAS ALL SLOW. COMING OUT FOR ESTIMATE WAS QUICK & THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL & COMPETITIVELY PRICED. THEY WERE VERY CAREFUL & METHODICAL IN THEIR WORK. THEY TOOK MORE TIME THAN ESTIMATED, BUT DIDN'T RAISE THE PRICE.

GREAT JOB!

ALTHOUGH THE ESTIMATE FOR THE REMOVAL OF ONE TREE WOULD HAVE BEEN SLIGHTLY HIGHER THAN OTHER COMPANIES, THE COST OF THE REMOVAL OF 3 TREES AT THE SAME TIME WAS LOWER, THE JOB THEY DID WAS EXCELLENT. THEY WERE COURTEOUS & PROMPT. I WOULD DEFINITELY HIRE THEM AGAIN & RECOMMEND THEM TO OTHERS.

FORREST TRIMMED TREES IN FRONT & BACK OF OUR HOUSE & INJECTED OUR CRAB APPLE TREE, SO IT WOULD HAVE MORE STRENGTH IN THE SPRING FOLLOWING A SUMMER OF DISEASE. WE DID NOT NEED TO BE HERE & ALL OF OUR NEEDS WERE MET. HE CLEANED UP HIS MESS & WAS VERY TIMELY!

THEY WERE VERY COURTEOUS, CLEANED UP WELL AFTER THE JOB, AND DID QUALITY WORK AT A REASONABLE PRICE.

THEY ARE NEAR MY HOUSE AND THE PRICE WAS RIGHT. HE IS VERY PERSONABLE AND TRUSTWORTHY.

THE FIRST TIME WE USED THEM THEY WERE RESPONSIVE. THIS TIME THEY WERE SLOW TO RETURN PHONE CALLS. WE WERE PLEASED WITH THEIR WORK EXCEPT THAT ONE OF THE LIMBS WERE DROPPED IN OUR POOL AND RIPPED THE LINER. THEY WERE VERY RESPONSIVE TO THIS.
