I was uncomfortable answering this, but couldn't think of a way around it, at the time. I told him between $6,000-$8,000 and as I expected, the quote came in at exactly $8,000. This made me wonder, if I had said $7,000, would it have come in there. I was too uncomfortable with his quote due to that, as well as the fact he didn't break the quote out into landscaping and hardscaping (just overall job), I did not have Louis complete the business. I had two other quotes and both came in under his.
Description of Work: I needed both landscaping done (remove all rock and current bushes around house, replace with new), as well as hardscaping (take out concrete sidewalk replace with new walkway out of pavers and create a patio (about 10x10 area), in a grassy area out of pavers).

 + -1 moreTHE CREW WORKED ALL DAY IN AN ONGOING DRIZZLE AND RAIN. SO I ASSUMED THE JOB WOULD NOT BE WHAT I MIGHT GET IN NICE WEATHER. I WAS WRONG. THE JOB WAS DONE PERFECTLY AND I WAS CHARGED OVER $100 LESS THAN I THOUGHT I WOULD BE. THEY COULD HAVE CHARGED ME MORE AND I WOULD NOT HAVE COMPLAINED. VERY HONEST AND GREAT JOB!THEY LISTENED TO WHAT I WANTED AND DID IT. THEY WERE ON TIME AND HONEST.

 + -1 moreTHEY DID ALL THE DEMOLITION, AND REMULCHED AS WELL WITH ST. CLOUD GRANITE. THEY PRESERVED ALL MY EXISTING PLANTS. DID A GREAT JOB, WITH SOME UNIQUE DESIGN DETAILS THAT WERE AN ADDED PLEASANT SURPRISE! LOUIE WAS GREAT TO WORK WITH, VERY FLEXIBLE AND HELPFUL. KEPT IN EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION WITH ME PRE-WORK AND DURING THE PROCESS. THE CREW WAS EXTREMELY TIDY AS WELL. EVEN DURING THE WORK, NO MESS WAS LEFT AT THE END OF DAY. EXCELLENT!
