Veteran Lawn Service

They do a good job mowing the lawn but damaged my mailbox twice in the past 2 years, once by hitting it while mowing around it (broke the post, requiring major repair) and again by hitting the concrete base with the mower blade/frame and breaking a large piece off. To their credit, they reimbursed me for the repair cost of the second accident. I did not report the damage from the first accident so I covered the cost of the repair myself. They "fly" through the yard very quickly in their riding mower, which probably is what caused the accidents. I spoke to the owner about it and he was very apologetic and covered the full cost of the concrete repair.

Awesome. I signed up for a 4-week lawn cutting and loved it so much I used them all summer and signed up for their additional packages. I had a party that I wanted my lawn to be freshly cut for, they adjusted the schedule so that the lawn was cut on Friday instead of the normal Wednesday. If they were unable to mow the yard because of weather, they were always out the very next day. I look forward to next summer!

Bad, I wanted to use a local Business, Veteran Lawn service. Said residential mowing in East Bethel. Jared Nelson the owner Couldn't give me a price on the phone. When he got here gave me a fairly high price. I said that much he said yes you are out here a ways. I'm in East Bethel he is out of Ham Lake. He said well let me see how long it takes. I told him it didn't need to be perfect. It took him approx. an hour and a half for mowing, trimming and blowing. I asked him how much he gave a higher price than before. He said it is always more the first time. So asked how much after that he quoted a high price I asked how often he said weekly I said I can't afford that. I Went and got the money gave it to him. That's when he let me know I inconvenienced him and that most professionals don't have time for one time mows " just a heads up" he said as he is walking away. I went on his website afterwards and it says, weekly, biweekly and mow as needed. Why offer that if you will only do weekly mows. I will not recommend him to anyone and I have been letting everyone know how badly he treated me.

They removed the snow from my two-car wide driveway and the sidewalk leading up to my door. I've never had any problems, they're definitely worth the money. My lawn looks so much better, they fertilize 4 times a year and I've been really satisfied with how it's improved over the last year. Whenever I have a question about something they always have great answers for me.
