Mr. Handyman of SW Minneapolis & SW Suburbs

Contacted Angie s for estimates for deck power wash and reseal. First time using Angie s. Accepted Mr. Handyman s bid. Contract sent and signed. Contractor called before Memorial Day to set time and payment. Told not until after Memorial Day as I needed the deck that day and was unsure if sealant would be dry. I called 5/27/2025 to set date for work and payment. Got voice mail, left detailed message, name, phone, subject etc. No return call! Called again on 5/29/-5/31 and 6/3, same message, NO returned call! This is unacceptable! Left me hanging with a presumed contract, unable to contact another contractor, unable to contact agent who was onsite and made bid who presumably was to do the work! This undependable, discourteous, unprofessional, company does not reflect well on the Angie franchise!

Work was done in a timely fashion but to a low degree of quality. Siding is cut crookedly to the point it can be noticed from 20 feet away

Excellent work and good communication. Due to the nature of the work. It required several trips to allow the drywall repair to dry in between steps. Cost ended up quite high because instead of pricing based on actual amount of work done, each separate visit incurred a minimum 1-hour charge plus the fee just to show up. Total time working on the job might have been 1.5 hours. Cost -was for 3 visits + 3 hours labor. These were not hidden fees and Iâ m very happy with the work. Just go into it with eyes wide open.

Easy to get a hold of, professional, and courteous to talk to. Was able to schedule the next day. Handyman was terrific and got the job done correctly and quickly. Definitely hook up with these folks!

Replaced a door luck and switch plate set. Very thorough and cleaned up nicely after the job. Filled in some divots in door to prep for painting. Very pleased with work

Replaced drywall in kitchen. Creative problem solving. Matched old popcorn ceiling perfectly.

I had many small projects that needed to be done. The person who came to my house seemed a bit put out by the work. I added a couple of minor things to my list, which usually happens when I hire a handyperson, and he seemed unhappy about it. His interaction with me was hot and cold. I did not have him do a couple of the jobs on my list. I thought he might do a poor job because he obviously did not want to do it. Granted, it was to spray my garage for mice, and it was cold outside, but I had it on the list I submitted, so I assumed he would be prepared for the job.

It was expensive for the work that was done. The clean-up, following the placing of toggle bolts to hang a large mirror. was poorly done and sheetrock dust left covering the countertop, sink, and floor beneath and around area mirror was hung. I would need better service to hire again.

He gets 3 stars for response but his price was out if line period. 3 x higher then i paid for the very same project I had done by another company in the house i sold. Prices have not increased that much in a couple of years.

Excellent experience with Mr. Handyman. I needed repairs done to my wood fence due to a wind storm. Barnaby and Don arrived on time and did an excellent job with all repairs finishing ahead of scheduled time and on target with over the phone initial estimate. Superb Customer Service by Renee from initial phone contact contact thru job completion follow up. I will be doing more projects with Mr. Handyman. Thank you!
