Having been through many remodels in the past (bathroom, kitchen, basement including a walk-out) we have worked with many different design folks and Nate is the best. We are beyond impressed with how thorough he is, thinking through every detail (ie needing a large volume ice maker vs door unit for our entertaining space). He is a great listener and communicator, involving us in every decision along the way. He is also very budget conscious, thinking of design details like the length of a hallway given the size of a standard roll of carpet, and standard size cabinetry so we don't have to have them custom built. It is definitely worth the investment to sit down and plan out your build or remodel before starting your project. It is such a good idea to add him to your team, because he only has your interests in mind. As Nate told us, "designers who work for builders don?t work for you." We can't say enough good things about him.

We contacted innatespaces based on a recommendation. Nate sent us a preliminary questionnaire to help him understand our wants and needs. He met with us subsequently in our home to further understand our tastes and style. At this meeting he brought examples of previous work and references. Once we contracted with him, he initially drew 4 designs for our kitchen remodel. After we had chosen one concept, he worked with us to revise and tweak the design to best meet our needs. He was easy to work with and didn't seem offended when we wanted to "tweak" his design. He provided two revisions and a builder/contractor plan as past of his work. I gave the B for punctuality only because we waited for the contractor plans with our contractor ready to go. I don't think I could give an A for price on something unless I felt it was a great sale.
