These women are very good at what they do.  It didn't take them long to "get" who I am and to figure out my idiosyncrasies. They were able to judge my stress levels and knew when I needed breaks.  They were mindful of the problems faced by those of us who accumulate and hoard and made good suggestions for improvement without being judgemental.

Gloria and Katie are fantastic.  We had a severely cluttered and overwhelming condition in our garage/workshop.  We have never been able to park a car in our 2 car garage. The large majority of the "stuff" in those areas were my husband - who has extreme difficulty parting with anything.  My begs, pleads, encouragement and offer to assist were not getting the job done.  We desperately needed outside, unbiased and unemotional guidance. These gals hit the ground running.  Immediately, breaking into 2 teams - one in workshop and one in garage - they began to visualize and break down the massive clutter before them.  We had hired them for a 6 hour session, with a mid day lunch break.  It's amazing in that area now.  They were professional, friendly, task oriented.  They were unshamming, making positive suggestions and observations, while guiding the process.  They are outgoing and friendly and, overall, made for a very pleasant day.  There was no way we could accomplish 100% of the daunting mess of that area in 6 hours.  We were left with "homework" - several bins of "stuff" that need to be sorted, stored or trashed.  And items that would be donated or taken to recycle. We now can walk through our garage without picking carefully where to step and looks many magnitudes better. It is a wonderful transformation.  We are pleased beyond words.  It is now a pleasure to walk into that area, no longer one to be avoided at all costs, now seeing everything neat and tidy,  Everything categorized,  in it's place, labeled and stored.  Would we have them again to assist us if need be?  Absolutely!  Would we recommend them to others?  Most definitely!

This is an ongoing process and Gloria (owner/operator) is excellent to work with. My husband and I have been living in a hoarding/clutter situation for many years now - we have lived in our current house since 1986. We have also gone through some major illness the past few years. There is no quick fix in a situation like ours which I understood going into it.  Gloria is personable, non-judging, and assesses the situation professionally. It is not cheap to have this service but I could not have done it alone. We have managed to successfully clear the main room of our house of clutter and mounds of paper beyond what I thought was possible. I honestly thought it would take six months but we did it over a period of about two months. The house is not finished and she will be back to tackly our basement and garage.
I highly recommend Gloria services if your house is out of control.

They are positive, knowledgeable, diplomatic and kind. This was important since the whole porcess seemed so overwhelming.  They broke  the process down and left me with a manageable amount of 'homework'.  They had excellent suggestions and kept me on track, but open minded if I felt differently,  would love to have them come every month!

Most important was getting ride old and odd stuff we didn't need taking up space. We took our time and had them come every month or so because we could not keep up with them (this is a good thing, especially for us). They worked hard at getting us through bad habits from living in the same house for over 25 years and accumulating lots of stuff we should have gotten rid of long ago. The cupboards and closets were just wonderful as we got through each one. But most of all they taught us how to organize our mounds of paperwork, how to organize it, what to scan into the computer, and what to file. I made so many trips to the shredding service I was just amazed. And every time they came we filled our garbage and recycling cans to overflowing. They were incredibly cheerful even when I was tired and got grumpy. Very good people, and very good at what they do which is almost everything from top to basement storerooms.

They will work with you as you go or sort an area and them help you go through it with you.

I would have no hesitation in recommending them, you can't go wrong. Just leave me enough time for me when I need them in the future.

They are very knowledgeable. They are helping with files and are telling us what we have to keep for the IRS and things like that. It is $35 an hour per person. They work well with me. She knows when I am just frustrated and she is really good. She is helping me get the house back to basics. I will continue to work with them. She understands me and if she disagrees with me on something, she will let me know. We have a lot of stuff to go through. I ran a business out of my house and my wife worked out of the house. We have a big build up of things that we do not need. They have different personnel; I am working with one at the moment. She is excellent and good at pacing the work according to my anxiety. She has run several home based businesses so she understands that aspect of it. She knows what papers; she is good at what paperwork we need to keep for the IRS on our other two properties. She is helping us set up a filing system that will be much better than what we have been using. She is very professional and very personable. She is efficient and effective. I highly recommend them.

Encore! has been the perfect fit for me and my husband. The process of downsizing and moving is not easy and I don't know what we would have done without Gloria and Katie because they have helped to keep the stress at a manageable level. 
They are patient, kind and wise about the sorting process. When necessary, they can be firm to keep you on track and keep things moving. Both Gloria and Katie are committed to making sure that you get the most out of the time you've paid for. When my husband or I start to reminisce after coming upon sentimental objects, they are happy to let us share our memories. They manage to keep a perfect balance between time for reminiscing and moving forward.

Gloria & her niece were prompt and so wonderful at helping me get my paper clutter under control!  From the initial phone call, Gloria responded quickly and put me at ease.  I appreciated her insight and efficiency.  We got so much done in our first session.  She normally is booked out a ways but she had a cancellation and was able to get me an appointment within a week of my phone call.  I scheduled a 6 hour session and we finished in 5.5 hours.  It truly is like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders!  Thank you so much!  I will be calling the Encore team for help tackling my next project for certain!

Gloria Eberhard (along with her partner Katie Anderson from Katie's company, Simplicity) have miraculously de-cluttered, re-organized, cleaned and completely transformed our home over the past several months.
